A lot of power in such a small box!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lot of power in such a small box! The next gen has arrived and this is one of least expensive ways of making that transition. A total move away from physical discs you get the performance and glorious beauty of the next gen. The only caveat is you will run out of storage especially with big games such as COD-Cold War.

Amazing Console
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it. Small, affordable, and fun. I rarely play video games but I have a few favorite so I thought the series S would be amazing for someone like me who doesn’t play often, but still loves certain games. I was correct. Recommend to me by a friend, and I recommended it to other friends.

This Generation belongs to XBOX without a doubt.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The value of the XBOX series S is unbelievable, especially when combined with GAME PASS. Powerful enough to run this generation of gaming with no problems. And what’s even more surprising is, how the XBOX series S can run CIRCLES around the PS5 ☝️. Simply stunning! Happy Gaming Everyone.

The Right Choice for Most People
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very hesitant to buy the Series S instead of the Series X. I pride myself on always having the best, most up to date tech available and, on paper, this isn’t it. However, with the Series X in such short supply, I purchased this as a placeholder until I could find a Series X. I am so glad that I did. This device renders at lower resolutions than it’s bigger brother, meaning that the picture is not quite as clear, but sitting on my couch and viewing it from a normal viewing distance, I can barely tell. I would never recommend this for a gaming desk setup, because the differences in rendering resolution and slightly dialed back effects are going to be obvious to people sitting 2-4 feet away from their screen. In a living room setup on the other hand, where most people sit about 10 feet away from their screens, this looks really great! Even being the great big tech-geek that I am, I’m considering skipping the more expensive Series X and just sticking with my Series S. I have to imagine that if I’m happy with it, the majority of people definitely would be as well.

Good Performance at 4k, Small Storage
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Enjoying my new XBox Series S. Performance is good for any games I have played and I play primarily on a 75" 4k tv. I do feel slightly limited with the lack of a disk drive on the unit and the storage space is definitely too small for anything more than half a dozen games, but I knew that going into the purchase. I will add that I seem to be limited to a download speed of ~250Mbps while direct wired to a gigabit connection. No idea why I can't go beyond that as every other device I have performs at max speed, but it's not a huge deal.

buy it and try it, you wont regret
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is top of the line. I went from xbox one to this, well you can tell a big difference in graphics, and the playing part of the game is nice. You have a big thing like waiting for a game to load, not anymore. This thing loads ark great, it enhances everything. You can buy this and enjoy playing games all night long.

RUNS LIKE A CHAMP!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This console is well worth the price. It’s runs very smooth and compare to the Xbox one X, there is no comparison. Only downfall is the internal hard drive is not big enough to store a full library of games, but this is not a big issue for me. I got this for the performance and it has been a super purchase for me!

Great System
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Games look great and I love how small it is. Storage is enough for now. The only thing is that I do wish that I would have waited a little bit more for the Series X because it is nice to be able to buy used disc games for cheaper prices. There are a lot of games on Game Pass but I miss being able to buy new releases secondhand for much cheaper. For that reason and for the actual system differences, if I were to do it over again I would probably have just waited and paid a little more for the X.

Great buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good console. Have been out of gaming for a awhile. So this was a great introduction back into gaming. Downside is it has limited storage. However you can get more stroage by getting a external hardrive. Overall it is a good buy.

Enjoying my Series S. Fun & Inexpensive Gaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, it’s exactly what it says on the box. If you aren’t super into gaming, or if you want to game on a budget, the Series S is the best way to go. Get Game Pass Ultimate, and start drifting into paying some awesome games and Xbox exclusives! Two things to know before you buy though, you will need additional storage. That game storage can get a little bit tight after you’ve been playing for a while. You won’t need it right away, but give it a couple of months and look into some expansion cards for your Series S. Also look into chargeable battery packs. Besides that, if you are looking for cheaper but still awesome gaming, Series S is the way to go. If you do have that additional funds to spend out, weigh you options and look at one of the nex Gen disc consoles (Series X or PS5).

Great value for the price point
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Such a great value for the price point! I have game pass for the next 3 years and this console is perfect for my needs. The console has such a low profile that it will fit in any entertainment setup. Cooling is also a non-issue with the huge fan. Highly recommended for those with game pass and not picky about hardware.

It's a nice console
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's really not a terrible console. The biggest thing is no physical drive and 512gb is not a lot of space for modern games

Annoying you actually need extra memory card
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xbox has always been my favorite console. Since everything has pretty much gone digital, needing a disc drive seemed irrelevant. However, in buying this for our household, I failed to realize you need the additional SD memory card if you’re going to be playing any of the series S/X version games. Older expandable drives to not work for this series. You have to get the new cards. Which isn’t cheap. For another $75-100, you can get the series X that gives you everything.

A beautiful performer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast load times, great graphics, and the controller is easier to use than my previous experience with the PS4 controller. Get one! And with the Game Pass, it's a blast to picks from over 100 games to play on demand (after downloading, that is...) The design also looks very nice chilling near my TV.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.phenomenal value for a next gen experience! I have a hard time telling the difference on my 40" 4k screen from my SX console in 4k on my 55" if money is an issue or you need a second room xbox do not hesitate with the Series S, I love how small it is compared to the hulking ps5 and fridge SX

A+ value - can’t complain about much at this price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good deal if you need a console upgrade but aren’t a big time gamer. Value is great in $-per-feature, compared to the Xbox series X, ps5 both versions. Real question is whether you value gaming enough to pay for more nifty features. This is the Honda Accord, does everything well that you need and won’t set you back anymore than you need, while the other consoles may be more akin to slightly more sporty cars that are cool and all, but don’t necessarily make a huge difference in its overall real purpose.
