Go for it! I can personally say the affordable Series S model has surpassed my expectations. I upgraded to the Series S from a One S and all of my games play better overall. Both online multiplayer and gaming solo has proven to be a more enjoyable experience on this machine with faster load times and much improved visuals. Some feel like I'm playing the game for the first time, it is that big of a difference. Beyond happy with this purchase.

But the switch couldn’t be sweeter. Yes there’s not a ton of memory but with cloud gaming, and 1GB internet speeds you won’t even notice. Great if you have limited space and enjoy traveling. Paired with my G Cloud this thing is amazing !

I originally had the X1X scorpio and I don't really notice any difference in graphics, although I have yet to play a current new gen game, however load times are insanely fast and the true saving grace over the X1X. Still have my eye out for the Series X and will replace this with that. Until then I am happy with this
