Customers love the Xbox Series S for its affordable price, impressive performance, and ease of use. Many appreciate the compact size and the inclusion of Game Pass, although some find the storage capacity limiting and the lack of a disc drive inconvenient. Shipping took forever.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox itself is great. Shipping in the other hand was a joke. Said it would be delivered the next day so we decided to get it through Best Buy. It didn’t come for two weeks and missed my son’s birthday.

Disappointed in game options
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disappointed that I am unable to play certain two person co-op games on this device. I would have purchased the X series if I would have known that ahead of time. Now it is too late to exchange this item.

Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price we paid for this console was not fair due to the storage size. Had we known we would have bought the 1tb model which was the same price basically. And the console is extremely laggy.

BEST PURCHASED IN A WHILE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Certainly! The Xbox Series S is a compact and affordable gaming console from Microsoft. It comes with a focus on digital gaming and offers impressive performance in its price range. Here are a few key points to consider in a review of the Xbox Series S: 1. Performance: The Xbox Series S boasts a custom 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU and RDNA 2 GPU, allowing for smooth gameplay at 1440p resolution. It also supports up to 120 frames per second, which enhances the overall gaming experience. 2. Storage: It comes with a 512GB SSD, providing fast load times and quick access to games. However, the storage capacity might be insufficient for users with a large game library. But Microsoft offers expandable storage options using a proprietary SSD expansion card. 3. Game Library: The Xbox Series S is part of the Xbox ecosystem, allowing players to access an extensive library of games through Xbox Game Pass, a subscription-based service. With Game Pass, users gain access to a vast collection of games, including first-party titles on the day of release. 4. Backward Compatibility: The console supports backward compatibility, meaning it can play most Xbox One, Xbox 360, and original Xbox games. This is a great feature for players who want to revisit older titles. 5. Design and Size: The Xbox Series S has a compact design, making it suitable for users with limited space. It features a white finish with a black vented grille, giving it a sleek and modern look. Overall, the Xbox Series S is a compelling option for gamers looking for an affordable and high-performing console. It offers a solid gaming experience, a growing game library, and the benefits of being part of the Xbox ecosystem. However, if you require native 4K gaming or have a substantial game library, you may want to consider the more powerful Xbox Series X.

Deceptive advertising
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I can give you a zero, I surely would purchase this Xbox for my grandson. Nevertheless is stated it came with a 3-month game card. I have called customer service several times. Have not received any help. All I have been is deceived. If I don't receive that game card or the code or whatever is necessary, you will be receiving this merchandise back immediately. So I see I'm not the only person that had issues not receiving a game card with the system. You ought to be shame on yourself for using such deceptive practices

Returning
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller constantly disconnects, and games will randomly quit out and take you to Home Screen. Definitely a budget console but not worth the headache.
