This upgrade to the Series X was definitely worth it, the games load way more faster, the graphics are stunning and beautiful. Definitely recommend this Xbox.

TLTR; I was finally able to secure an online order before Xmas and the wait was worth it. The hardware upgrade alone is enough of a reason to consider buying the Series X. I recommend this console for any avid Xbox console gamer who has a 4k display who plans to watch or use the disc drive. Pros: So far there isn't any new games for the Series X or S, but the current games that are optimized seem to run great for a console. Even older games that aren't optimized are running well on the new hardware. The console is quite and heat management seems to be working as expected. You can use you existing USB external HDD from your Xbox One with the Series X/S. So I'm only adding optimized Series X/S games to my internal SDD while leaving all my other games on the external USB HDD. This is a plus so you don't have to buy the expansion slot card until you really need it. Cons: Nothing built exclusively for the Series X or S are available as of Fall 2020. This isn't a huge downer but it means only current and older games optimized are able that use some/all of the new features. The box itself is bigger than the Xbox One X and S. So it may new fit with your current media center. Note: My current display setup is a Samsung Q80T and the visuals are solid. I suggest getting a display that supports 4k (forget 8k for now) and all/most of the other technologies (HDR, Auto Low Latency Mode, HDMI Variable Refresh Rate, AMD FreeSync) that are now available.

This has provided the best gaming experience Ive ever had. I love the storage capacity and nothing compares to the graphics this model provides. With the best buy membership I know I got the most out of my money and that they offered the best price.

My son bought this xbox for my Christmas gift. It is replacing my xbox one S. The performance is a night and day difference. I'm in awe of how quickly my games load now and how much the graphics have improved with the newer console. So happy with it! The only negative is the controller seems a little less well-made, but I'll probably get a customized one anyway.

Excellent upgrade from the Xbox One X and well worth the money (if you can actually find one). I havent had any issues with my unit since the summer but it does get a little hot at the top, so make sure you have good ventilation and airflow for the unit. Definitely don't lay anything on top of it. New controller is also a pleasant upgrade. Game switching within the OS is where it's at IMO, easily the best thing about the new units.

Fast dashboard interface even with the criticism that it’s still the old dashboard. The Quick Resume Feature is the ultimate deciding factor for me. It’s just a very powerful console. It can shuffle up to 5 games with ease. It will also restore you to your last view when jumping between games. One of the best of things about it is the including of Game Pass for 3 months for $1. The variety of games is just overwhelming and gives you plexibility as a gamer who wants to explore.

I absolutely love it - I am primarily a PC gamer but the XBOX Series X is very much a PC-like gaming device. The fact it can do Ray Tracing is definitely impressive - especially considering the stand alone cost of RTX level video cards. The ability to remote play on different devices is also a huge plus for me. It is fast, powerful and very easy to use; the ability to attach external drive storage is very handy.

Whether I’m playing the latest AAA titles or relaxing with some classic favorites, it handles everything flawlessly. The quick loading times and user-friendly interface make it an absolute joy to use. Plus, the Xbox Game Pass is a game-changer, offering so much value with access to so many games. It’s perfect for casual gamers and hardcore enthusiasts alike. Highly recommend!

Incredible system. I love this system. It is so powerful. I love to play video games on this system. I like this one better than the series s. I think this is more of a next generation system than the series s. I wish they make more series x for the public to buy in the future. Everybody deserves to be able to buy this system at a regular price and not pay more. I wish Best Buy could somehow help its members to be able to buy this system.

I got this for my wife for christmas because she needed a new upgrade from her previous model which was the elite 1tb model. The ease of use and graphics are amazing. And the console is outstanding. Would definitely recommend getting one if you don't have it.

Love the new xbox. I got it for starfield. My PC just wasnt up to snuff and i trally didnt want to drop another $1000 just to play it with reasonable graphics and performance. Traded up from the Series S and cannot recommend it enough. Much better performance, stroage, and look. W Microsoft... W.

The Xbox Series X takes Next Gen gaming to a whole new level. Microsoft has done it again and this gaming system is a true beast. The quick resume feature is amazing and allows you to swap back-and-forth between games instantaneously. The design of the console with its tower like design looks very very cool. The graphics quality and fluidity of character movement looks spectacular and the much anticipated return of the Master Chief next year will make this a truly INFINITE experience.

I have played on Xbox since the original. The changes have been amazing each time. When this series was announced I started my "savings account" so I would be able to afford it. HA - with Covid and all the associated back up in deliveries I decided to wait until I could walk in and pick one up at Best Buy. I just prefer brick & morter for electronics. When I got it home and got it hooked up I turned it on, plugged in my internet ( for a better than wireless connection) and waited for it to update and load my profile and games.. I expected at least an hour and didn't even check back for at least that long. When I got logged in and fired up the main game I play (FH5) I was pleasently surprised at the garphics! Then as I started to play it was easy to see that the load times between races, levels, etc was much smoother and faster. Coming from my Xbox One I am still, weeks later, amazed at the improvements. Good job Microsoft. I am not a big fan of MS but this is a huge improvement. Coupled with Ultimate Game Pass you can play pretty much any game in Xbox history.

Had been trying to buy one since my One S stopped working on me, Tried on almost every other website but the bots always beat me to it. I was actually able to buy two and give one to my friend from Best Buy. The graphics are almost night and day from my One S and I'm only playing on an HD TV so I can't even start imagining how it will look on a 4K TV. It does get kind of hot so make sure you have good ventilation, I guess that's the power of next gen

So far this is a solid unit. Props to Best Buy for bot proofing their site so I could actually order one. Graphics are awesome. Speaking of graphics, if you have not recently bought a TV then hold off until the new 2021 TVs come in. Don't be suckered by the sales on 2020 stock. 2020 was a horrible year for TV innovation and the next gen console features are a mirage. I got this paired up with the LG Atmos Surround Sound Bar with Rear Surrounds. Playing Call of Duty is Surreal. You really hear the 3 dimensional sound. Please note my praise is after the release of a few update patches that the improved stability. Only weird thing is the device powering. It all goes through ARC which can be a blessing or a curse. In my case it took me a few minutes to get the settings right but when I turn on the XBOX manually, the soundbar does not turn on. It will turn off if I shut it off manually. If I use an assistant to turn it on via voice command then everything turns on. I don't know if it is a bug or something specific with LG but since I use Google Home it is not a big deal. And that leads me to my next point. Being able to use your assistant is pretty cool. I just wish they didn't sunset Kinect because honestly I dug it for the camera and mic. I rarely use headphones unless I am playing and don't want to disturb the family. All that said I am very happy.

The speed to load is unreal I’m blown away even older games look amazing bumped up the graphics to full no lag makes older games look like new

I love the gameplay graphics and how fast games load. I have not experienced any lagging. Definitely recommend to a gamer

Incredibly fast and impressive graphics. I am very impressed with the latest generation console from Xbox. It loads so fast and the loading screens are minimal. Even games like destiny are super quick. The inventory screen loads immediately so you can switch gear without missing the action. I used to be ae to run tonthe bathroom or get a drink while games were loading saves or starting but now it takes seconds instead of minutes. This is a must buy for the console gamer.

Couple this with high speed internet and oh my the speed and graphics are out of this world. I like that the interface is similar to the previous iterrations of the xbox console, its literallt a plug and play and the difference between this machine and the previous are night and day!
