Awesome system! Great 4K game graphics and overall performance. Love it! A WORD OF CAUTION FOR X/S SERIES CONSOLE PURCHASERS. A number of Next Gen gaming Developers were not careful to do pre-installation or pre-run checks on the games that they have written for Xbox. What this means is that an older Xbox One game can run on the X series and cause problems, crashes and freezes, and even turn off your Xbox when it runs into a part of the game that is not (and needs to be) tailor coded for the platform.. In fairness, Microsoft may share a little responsibility for making sure these checks are done as well when the game starts. To avoid these problems and to avoid damage to your Xbox, be sure to download the X/S optimized games and run those only, in regards to Next Gen games. Bottom line, make sure the game is compatible with your X/S series, and if you’re not sure, look it up or contact support. I had this problem & initially thought I bought a lemon Xbox. It turned out that it was the software version of the game itself and that it was completely software related. I realized that I had somehow downloaded both the Xbox one version of a game, and the X/S version, and was running them both at different times unwittingly. Hope this helps someone else! Been using for 6mo and works great. Definitely a big difference from the series s to x. Games load 50% quicker and the graphics are 20% better. Runs more smoothly then previous gen consoles

So far this machine is absolutely amazing. It's so quite the humidifier in the room is louder than the Xbox even while playing assassin's creed and cyberpunk. The quick resume function works as advertised and it's scary cool. I took out cyberpunk, put in watch dogs legion then put back in cyberpunk (because I own all of them on disc) and it picked up right where I left off. It's a feature I never knew I wanted and I never want to live without it haha. Finally the console is super fast. In assassin's creed load times between fast travel points takes less than 10 seconds. Often times I'll fast travel, pick up the phone and by the time I unlock my phone I'm back into the game. It's crazy. I can't wait for what's in store for this generation. Microsoft has kicked it off with a stellar machine that has all it's core features working well right from the get go. The actual 803GB of storage will get filled up fast, so either keep your HDD as a pack mule, or get the SSD. For those thinking of getting both consoles, like myself, I would recommend getting the series X and a digital PS5. The series X is a better machine for the same price as the disc PS5. Play all the cross platform titles on your xbox and just play the exclusives on the PlayStation.

beast of a gaming system. great load times, stunning graphics and overall experience, i have a beefy gaming pc too (used mostly for work) but sitting on the couch with with a controller and giant 4k screen with the series x rendering graphics the way it does it a whole another experience. also whisper quiet even with demanding games. def recommend!

Xbox has continued to listen to it's fans and this console is the latest in a number of moves to position it as the industry leader. Super fast load times, better graphics, and an amazing library thanks to gamepass make this a great console to own now and in the future. Pros: - Super fast load times. Coming from an Xbox One S the difference is incredible. - Smoother gameplay, menus, everything - Last generation games are consistently being optimized - Console has a cool design and 4K Blu-ray player. It can work vertically or horizontal. Cons: - While xbox continues to optimize last generation games there is still a lack of exclusives. Gamepass and multiple free-to-play games such Apex Legends help as I already have too many games to play, but it would be nice to have games to be as excited about as Spiderman or God of War. - Console is large. While I like the design and shape it doesn't fit in my entertainment center upright (vertical) so I have to lay it on its side which I don't like the look of quite as much. Overall I'm very excited to own this console. This console release feels a bit odd due to the shortage of consoles and "different" leap forward compared to past launches but so far the next generation is looking very promising.

Great graphics. Fast load times. Easy set up. Had been using pc for Microsoft games and PS5 for everything else but the xbox x was easier to find lately than a highet end graphics card so I switched to the console and wasn't disappointed worth every cent ...and the wait to find. Add ssd storage.

Great console. A lot smaller than expected. Also creates a bit more heat than expected. The console runs games smooth and quickly. Colors are vibrant, framerates are stable. Gamepass is an absolute deal as well.

Upgraded from the original Xbox One. It is way faster, games load in a fraction of the time, the graphics are amazing. Very easy to set up. Logged into my account and all settings were transferred. The interface is the same, so nothing new to get used to. Also works with the older controllers.

I have been gaming mostly on pc lately annd i sold my xbox one x to purchase the Series X. My pc has a new Nvme drive and the speed of the Series X blows my pc away. I get more fps on pc but im wuite impressed with xbox. Game Pass and quick resume has been awesome. I have played more games in the past few weeks then i did in months. I love 4k at 60fps!

First off, i dislike how the prices have increased throughout the year. Especially since after I bought it, the sales finally hit. However, the product was worth the wait (waiting for 5 years). From switching over from old gen (xbox one s), it is a level up. The load times decreased, smoother gameplay, and the ability to play new gen rated games.

This system is a huge step up from the previous generation xbox for many reasons. - Super quiet even after longer gaming sessions: the installed fan does a great job during play and also quickly cools the system down after longer gaming sessions - Note: Some reports surfaced of "smoke" from the fan and have been proved false. There is no smoke coming from the top of the device. - Load times are amazing: system startup is clean and fast, load times to start a game are fast, and load times within games are exponentially faster than the Xbox One. - Graphics are fantastic on an HD or other TV, but are dramatically improved when connecting to a 4k TV (and connecting to a 4k TV is system recognized and asks if you would like to update settings with one simple click) - Large power supply box and plug are a thing of the past: The power chord and HDMI chord included are streamlined and system setup is a breeze - Connecting an Xbox One controller or new Series X controller is fast and efficient. If the controller needs an update the system recognizes and then in one click the install is installed - The design of the system and the controller are a positive as well. The device itself is sleek, clean, and doesn't distract from any room design.

This is my first Xbox since the original version some 18 years ago. I've used the last generation Xbox a few times, but have always been a PS user. That said, I was very impressed with the graphics and performance of the Xbox Series X. It's very quiet during gameplay. Coming from the PS operating system, the menus and such were a bit cumbersome for me at first. If you're already an Xbox user, I doubt this will be an issue for you. For me though, it's taken a bit of getting used to where things are. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the controller feels cheap. My son has an Xbox One and the last generation controller, while physically the same to me, feels better than the XBX controller. Your mileage may vary.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! It is my first new game console right out of the box, and I just love how it looks. Runs smooth, it’s loud, and it might be a little large, but looks great where ever it is placed.

We love it ! Our Xbox One had been frustrating us forever, especially with not wanting to load, much les READ disks. Zero issues with this console so far. Extremely simple set up, fast loading, great graphics, and looks nice rather than like a stereo component. We skipped the previous consoles because they looked awkward and ginormous. This console shape should not change. A replaceable lint filter like hair dryers or even CPAP devices use would be sufficient to protect the inside of the device. Should be extremely easy to incorporate, allowing a larger airflow opening. Get on this ! Would save a ton of service calls and angry email time wasted, leaving CSRs and tech support free to do other things.

Faster Loading, Super Quiet and better graphics and back compatibility, only downer is no next game yets, but older games are made new.
