Have been wanting a new Xbox for a couple of years now, but never pulled the trigger. The quick resume is still in need of some minor kinks to workout, for instance after turning the Xbox off and back on again you sometimes need to restart your game. But it’s the best console you can possibly get for anywhere near this price. I recommend getting a sea gate external hard drive if you plan on playing multiple large games.

Definitely overpriced and too expensive! My son says it’s ok and meh as well but he is happy with the upgrade He says better than the S. Weird vibe and looks from staff during order pickup…..

As a review on this system you must have a 4K tv with 120hz and 2.1 hdmi to get the full potential out of the Xbox series x. Other 4K TVs with 60hz and 2.0 hdmi will work fine and look amazing as well and work @120 FPS at 1080p, but to get 4k@120fps you will need to upgrade your 4K tv. It is a great upgrade from a Xbox one x. Beast of a console. I pair my series x with my 4K LG OLED TV. The ssd is super fast and very impressive. It took me 10 weeks to get the series x.

This is technically my second review since it is the second Xbox I bought, NO I AM NOT A SCALPER. I helped my co worker get the 1st one because he really wanted one and I said I could get it for him. Then once I got the 1st one I really wanted one for myself after seeing it. Sold my Xbox one S. And was able to buy one through the Xbox all access thing. Now I originally wasn’t for the whole “bundle” thing. But for what your paying for its actually not that bad of a deal. I am also a PC gamer so having windows 10 and an Xbox I can share game pass, and Xbox live with my PC and console. It also fits my budget quite well just need to stay on top of the payments. But the console itself is brilliant. Games load super fast. Console loads very quick. This is such a versatile console. Honestly… being a pc gamer mainly, this is clearly the closest console to get to PC territory. 120 FPS is a real thing. 1440p is supported if you wanted. A laundry list of games ranging from Xbox original to brand new. It is so cool to see a console really stretch it’s legs. This is definitely next gen the most next gen thing about the Xbox series x. Honestly if your a person who looks for value, this is it. Game pass has it all for value. And the fact it can literally play almost any Xbox game just makes it a no brainer. Only downside is the storage. I’m not biased in any way between Sony and Microsoft. I own both a ps5 and an Xbox. And the clear winner is PC. I’ll but in all seriousness it’s worth every penny

    Xbox One X Perfected

The Xbox Series X addresses the Xbox One X's weakest point: speed. It has a powerful CPU in addition to its monstrous GPU and has a built-in SSD. You'll be impressed with the speed from the get-go. The initial setup was super fast and it even allows you to copy settings from the cloud that is backed up from your previous console. You'll be up and running in no time, and if you are a Gamepass subscriber, you'll have great games to play such as Gears Tactics & Tetris Connected. You'll have to be patient though as they download or as you apply the Series X optimization patches. While the delay of Halo Infinite's launch left a big hole in the launch lineup, it did not really bother me as I have more than enough launch games to play. Yakuza Like a Dragon is quite fun and looks fantastic on the console. While not a graphical showcase, Tetris Connected manages to look quite cool and flashy and is incredibly addicting with numerous online and solo game modes. The backward compatibility truly shines and it is a joy going back to some of your favorite titles that perform better now with the power of the Series X. Forza Horizon 4 and Gears 5 never looked so good at 4K-60fps. The new controller is not a big change, but since I use the Elite 2 anyways, that didn't bother me all too much. I quite like how the new controller feels and it seems they made some minor yet meaningful tweaks to it overall. The bumpers seem more responsive to me and the share button is a useful addition. I am looking forward to seeing what's next for this powerful console, and I am very impressed with the overall package so far. Cheers

4K Quality + Beast Performance for the Family Room

A superb addition to the family room tv! Powerfully produces quality gameplay in 4K as advertised, From newer games like Forza Horizon 5 to classics like the Rare collection on Xbox 360, it all works great. Loading screens have been a pain in the past, but with this console, less time needed to wait. On the Best Buy side of things, I had to queue in as it was a “high volume item” even after 2 years later. The only downside was that I couldn’t add 24 month financing when I purchased it initially (but with their customer service, it was straighten out), so caution on that. Otherwise, I was able to easily pick it up at my usual Best Buy store when it was ready. Pros: 4K looks beautiful, yet the performance is way ahead of the previous generations of the Xbox. Cons: Be mindful that this might be a high volume item on this site and not available to pick up at the store right away. Verdict: Definitely a must have for the family room consoles. Tons of games to play, and with Gamepass, expanding your opportunity to game, and streaming options are available for entertainment.

If you can handle the wait (because it's harder to get than the Series S) it is WORTH IT! The better framerate and constant 4k is beautiful, especially on games made for it (like Forza Horizon 4). The only issue I've had is the controller disconnecting maybe 3 times in the month I've had it, though it has reconnected almost immediately. Don't get me started on how much quick-start can change your entire gaming experience.

Lot of value for the next-generation. You get all the legacy titles you already own if you have any previous Xbox console. Some games even come with a boost from the original source material. Fight Night Champions instantly comes to mind. 4k, HDR..you really have to see it on the Series X. Older titles may see boost like Battlefield V where you can play the game in 4k ,120fps. Dying Light plays at a buttery smooth 60 fps with HDR now upscaled at 4K, i popped in the same game on the PS5 today and its still 30 fps.. Its a beast for the older generation.. As far as next-generation gaming... Its coming...fortunately as of this review, its much sooner than the actual console purchased date...lol. The wait been has been painful...but the future is extremely bright... Havent even talked about game pass.. Easiest way to explain, its netflix but for gaming. Microsoft hosts all their first-party titles in the subscription but you also get EA Play (Madden, need for speed, star wars) as part of the subscription and you also receive day one titles from 3rd party companies...so Dungeons and Dragons:Dark Alliance that just came out a week ago...currently in game pass.. So its a trade-off. Im new to xbox and the whole ecosystem, but i do own both next-generation consoles.. its clear sony has more exclusives right now, but xbox is coming along nicely and Starfield...should probably youtube Starfield...ok bye.

Really good console, notably faster loading speeds than the Xbox one. A great gaming system. The storage capacity could be a lot better. I am seriously considering investing in an 2tb expansion card, but only when the price is more reasonable.

This console is a beast. I came from the original Xbox one and there is no competition between them. If you are an Xbox fan and are lucky enough to buy one I say buy it. I got mine through the Xbox all access program so keep an eye out for that if you really want the console. Also, make sure you have enough room to house the console it is a little chunky.

The Xbox series X is amazing compare to the Xbox one X I had previously. The graphics are very vivid and pop out on my 50 inch 4k tv. The load speeds are next to nothing I could play Cyberpunk with ease now and not have to worry about it crashing or over heating on me. With a good internet connection you can have your whole terabyte used up with game pass in a few hours. That’s how fast it loads and downloads. I prefer to have digital versions of my games makes it easier for me but this also has an option for disks and blue rays. The controller is good I stick by my elite controller. I don’t regret upgrading this Black Friday it was a great deal and a noticeable upgrade.
