Love this thing. I have a gaming PC, but sometimes a console is the way to go and a Series X definitely gets you there. Especially with Game Pass Ultimate. Needed a storage expansion card to hold the games I want to play regularly and the cost of a 2TB card was prohibitive.

Absolutely love the Series X. I upgraded from the original Xbox One, and wow, the load times are insanely better. So far, I’ve mainly played the old Batman Arkham games on it (I know I should play the games made for X|S, so I’ll get Elden Ring soon), and this consoles makes the games feel only a couple years old, tops. It was so painful to die in the game and have to wait for way too long to respawn on my old Xbox, but now, that’s no longer an issue. Also, the quick resume option still blows me away. I never quit my games. At any point, I can turn on my Xbox and hop right back where I was. If my wife and I are watching a show and she needs to step away for a bit, boom, I’m on Batman Arkham Knight, right back into fighting the militia. It’s crazy. Anyone who uses Xbox to play games needs to get one of these things.

**Xbox Series X: A True Next-Gen Experience**
The Xbox Series X delivers incredible performance with 4K resolution and super-fast load times thanks to its powerful hardware. The Quick Resume feature is a game-changer, allowing you to switch between games in seconds. I also love the backward compatibility with older Xbox games, and Xbox Game Pass offers a massive library of titles. The sleek design and quiet operation make it a great fit for any setup. If you're looking for a powerful, versatile console, the Xbox Series X is the way to go!

Low storage cause you have to buy bigger SSD Card & controller wasn’t firm like new seemed used but I didn’t buy refurbished or used one , strange on controller. Also buy cooler device off amazon didn’t see anything like this in store. Covers top and draws air faster than the fan the use but you can leave off until you need it then place on top and turn on. Don’t leave cover on or you could over heat Played 5 minutes back to PC wish if you own a game you could play it on anything. They need to start letting us do it , maybe charge $15 just to add profile on different device I bought everything for PC and can’t change it :(

A superb addition to the family room tv! Powerfully produces quality gameplay in 4K as advertised, From newer games like Forza Horizon 5 to classics like the Rare collection on Xbox 360, it all works great. Loading screens have been a pain in the past, but with this console, less time needed to wait.
On the Best Buy side of things, I had to queue in as it was a “high volume item” even after 2 years later. The only downside was that I couldn’t add 24 month financing when I purchased it initially (but with their customer service, it was straighten out), so caution on that. Otherwise, I was able to easily pick it up at my usual Best Buy store when it was ready.
Pros: 4K looks beautiful, yet the performance is way ahead of the previous generations of the Xbox.
Cons: Be mindful that this might be a high volume item on this site and not available to pick up at the store right away.
Verdict: Definitely a must have for the family room consoles. Tons of games to play, and with Gamepass, expanding your opportunity to game, and streaming options are available for entertainment.

Got this because my old x-b'xone no longer reads disc well and I end up needing to switch back and forth between it andy 360. Its almost obsolete anyway with more and more games being made optimized for Series X|S and as a bonus I got access to the Matrix Revelations that I got back when it was released, but could never play on my system.

If you can handle the wait (because it's harder to get than the Series S) it is WORTH IT! The better framerate and constant 4k is beautiful, especially on games made for it (like Forza Horizon 4). The only issue I've had is the controller disconnecting maybe 3 times in the month I've had it, though it has reconnected almost immediately. Don't get me started on how much quick-start can change your entire gaming experience.

Lot of value for the next-generation. You get all the legacy titles you already own if you have any previous Xbox console. Some games even come with a boost from the original source material.
Fight Night Champions instantly comes to mind. 4k, HDR..you really have to see it on the Series X.
Older titles may see boost like Battlefield V where you can play the game in 4k ,120fps.
Dying Light plays at a buttery smooth 60 fps with HDR now upscaled at 4K, i popped in the same game on the PS5 today and its still 30 fps..
Its a beast for the older generation..
As far as next-generation gaming...
Its coming...fortunately as of this review, its much sooner than the actual console purchased date...lol.
The wait been has been painful...but the future is extremely bright...
Havent even talked about game pass..
Easiest way to explain, its netflix but for gaming.
Microsoft hosts all their first-party titles in the subscription but you also get EA Play (Madden, need for speed, star wars) as part of the subscription and you also receive day one titles from 3rd party companies...so Dungeons and Dragons:Dark Alliance that just came out a week ago...currently in game pass..
So its a trade-off.
Im new to xbox and the whole ecosystem, but i do own both next-generation consoles.. its clear sony has more exclusives right now, but xbox is coming along nicely and Starfield...should probably youtube Starfield...ok bye.

Have been wanting a new Xbox for a couple of years now, but never pulled the trigger. The quick resume is still in need of some minor kinks to workout, for instance after turning the Xbox off and back on again you sometimes need to restart your game. But it’s the best console you can possibly get for anywhere near this price. I recommend getting a sea gate external hard drive if you plan on playing multiple large games.

This console is a beast. I came from the original Xbox one and there is no competition between them. If you are an Xbox fan and are lucky enough to buy one I say buy it. I got mine through the Xbox all access program so keep an eye out for that if you really want the console. Also, make sure you have enough room to house the console it is a little chunky.
