Best console of the new gen!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, this xbox is GREAT!! It is quiet, looks beautiful, is small, and fits great on a desk corner. Games run sooo fast! As an example: monster hunter takes about 3-5 minutes to load after hunts on the xbox one original. It takes less than 2 seconds on the series X. For almost all games I play, I am usually the first one loaded inn and in the action. Apex runs smoothly, and colors looks beautiful! I have a gaming monitor which goes well with the console specs! The only caveat to getting it now is that there are minimal new console games putting it to the test, but Xbox has done a great job with backwards compatibility and improvements from games as far back as battlefield 4 and titan fall 2 to new games like madden, apex, and fortnite. The controller is great, although I prefer my elite 2 controller. Xbox definitely blew PS5 out of the water this time, exclusives aside, but xbox is becoming the clear cut winner. Attach a gaming keyboard to this and you have yourself a mid level gaming PC in 2021 standards!

Its sleek, minimalist design makes it a stylish addition to any entertainment setup, and its near-silent operation is a huge plus. The real magic happens when you start a game; thanks to the custom SSD, load times are almost non-existent, and the visual fidelity is stunning, with games running in crisp 4K at smooth frame rates. The Quick Resume feature is a game-changer, letting you jump back into multiple games instantly. Combined with the extensive library of games available through Game Pass and backward compatibility, the Series X is a powerhouse that provides exceptional value and a top-tier gaming experience.

Unbelievable
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited until I could finally purchase this at msrp which took until now. I'm blown away but quick play it is an amazing thing. This is a very smooth machine. It's small but pretty heavy for the size. It's quiet but it can get warm it's like a chiminea how this was designed, very efficient. This is amazing tech that shouldn't be anywhere near its price point. I have a high end gaming PC with a graphics card that costs twice this, and this outclasses it. That's not something I ever though I'd say about a console. It looks and runs great in both 1440p or 4k. If I could find anything to complain about it is the audio out, the options are lacking. It also doesn't like to connect to many blue tooth headsets. I have a Razer Nari Ultimate it won't connect at all. Still, the pros so outweigh the cons that you should just grab one on sight.

Power, speed, and an impressive gaming experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series X is a true performance beast. Load times are virtually nonexistent, and games look spectacular in 4K, with a smoothness that makes all the difference. The design is sleek and quiet, and the system runs smoothly and quickly. Quick Resume is fantastic—being able to switch between multiple games without losing progress is something you won't want to give up once you try it. Plus, with Game Pass, the experience gets even better: hundreds of games available instantly. Definitely a next-generation console in every sense of the word. It's worth every penny!

The Odd Couple
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I walked into Best Buy looking for the ultimate gaming machine, but I’m pretty sure I walked out with a new roommate. Right out of the box, the setup was seamless. The Xbox Series X didn't just boot up; it practically took a deep breath and started stretching. The graphics are so sharp and the load times so fast that I barely had time to blink before I was in the middle of a campaign. It’s a powerhouse, a beast, and apparently... a snack enthusiast? Things took a turn for the hilarious and slightly hungry once the sun went down. This console doesn't just stay on in standby mode; it roams. I woke up this morning to find a literal single drop left in the milk carton. It was just enough to be insulting, but not enough for my cereal. To make matters worse, there were empty bags of chips scattered like confetti across the kitchen counter. I swear I even heard the faint sound of a Level Up chime coming from the fridge. In all seriousness, this is the most fun I’ve had with a console in years. It’s fast, it’s powerful, and it has way more personality than I bargained for. If you want a console that plays 4K games at 120fps and occasionally gaslights you about who finished the Doritos, look no further. Huge thanks to Best Buy for the smooth pickup. 10/10 would buy again, though I might need to start hiding the snacks in the garage.

Hard to find, but worth the wait
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its taken since last year to finally purchase the Xbox Series X, but persistence paid off. Replaced my Xbox One X. The series X looks great and is very quiet. Does blow out heat from the vent, but never overheats. The start up and loading speeds are significantly faster, and the Quick Resume feature is pretty amazing. Jumping from game to game is quick and easy, starting you off where you left off. Of course the quick resume works best if you use digital games so you don't have to physically change out discs, and it allows going from game to game when playing remotely on other devices. I have found it enhances the graphical appearance performance of existing games, with improved frame rate performa nice as well. The controller isn't much different but is familiar and works well. I'm sure many will like the dedicated Share button. The added grip texture is also a plus. Hard to find but worth the wait!

Great Next-Gen Console
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the past few years, I’ve been primarily a PC gamer. Unfortunately, my GTX 1080 Ti recently died, and given the fact that high-end graphics cards are almost impossible to purchase these days, I thought I’d give the new Xbox Series X a try. I own an original Xbox One and PS4, but I haven’t played them much for several years. COMPARISON WITH PC: I’m really impressed with the Series X. Overall performance doesn’t seem far off my 8700k / 1080 Ti PC. Obviously, it can’t compare to a new high-end PC with 3080/6800XT graphics and the latest CPUs, but that’s to be expected - the whole console costs significantly less than a high end GPU by itself. I do miss some of the customizability and proper mouse and keyboard support for many types of titles, but on the other hand, hooking up a fairly compact system to the 65” OLED makes for a pretty great gaming experience. SIZE/SOUND: I’m amazed at how compact the Series X is compared to my PC. Even more than that, I’m shocked at how QUIET it is. I remember how loud previous consoles could be (PS4, I’m looking at you...), and while my PC was fairly inoffensive, the sheer number of fans created a low “hum” that was definitely audible from across the room. I honestly cannot hear the Series X during gaming, even with my sound system at very low levels. I can hear a faint sound if I put my ear within a foot of the exhaust fan - otherwise, it’s completely inaudible. Well, except for the disc drive. Installing physical games creates quite a racket. But the system is virtually silent while gaming. Very impressive. GRAPHICS: Graphics on the Series X are excellent. Many games have options for “Performance” mode or “Graphics Quality” mode. I will say that coming from reasonably high-end PC gaming with a 1440p G-SYNC monitor, I pretty much always opt for “Performance” mode. I’m used to high refresh rate gaming, so 30 FPS feels extremely unresponsive and the lack of fluidity isn’t worth the better graphics quality to me. It seems that even these new consoles aren’t quite ready for prime time when it comes to “4K gaming” (but then, very few PCs can pull that off either). But for those who are used to console gaming, maybe the “Quality” modes will make more sense. In my opinion, games look very good even in the “Performance” modes, and I anticipate things will look even better when developers start focusing specifically on the new consoles. GAMES: As for games, it’s a bit of a bummer that there are no real “next-gen exclusives” on the Series X just yet. A good number of titles have received some updates for the new consoles and look very good, but I’m excited to see how games look when they’ve been specifically designed for the hardware. Also, I realize I must be in the minority here, but I do not have Game Pass. I know it’s one of the big selling points for Xbox, and I might hop on board at some point. But even without it, I feel like I’m getting a good value from the Series X. STORAGE: Storage is a bit of a double-edged sword. The NVMe-based “Velocity Architecture” really does improve load times and responsiveness tremendously. And the Quick Resume feature is great if you want to hop back and forth between titles. The downside? Games are already large, and will only continue to get larger. Coming from a PC with 8 TB of game storage (mix of HDDs and SSDs), the 1 TB of storage on the Series X feels pretty cramped. I already sprang for the 1 TB Seagate add-on card, which works great, but at $229 I wouldn’t call it a great “value.” I’m sure future versions of both the console and storage cards will have more space, but I can definitely see storage becoming an issue for users who have a large number of titles. Deleting games when you’re not using them and downloading them again is a pain, and for those with internet caps, it can chew through your monthly data allotment quite quickly. Yes, I’m aware you can also plug in a USB 3.x HDD or SSD and store Series X titles there (and play non-Series-X games directly from the external drive), but again, it seems like a cumbersome solution. Ultimately, though, at the $499 price point it’s unrealistic to expect more than 1 TB of fast storage built into the console. Overall, I’m really enjoying my time with the Xbox Series X. I have to say that coming from a fairly powerful PC, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with its capabilities, and I know it will only get better as developers continue to take advantage of its powerful hardware and as new exclusives are released for the system. The Series X is powerful, dead silent, and offers a ton of performance and value. I recommend it for users who can afford it and want a premium console gaming experience.

Love the Xbox Series X
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series X is an absolute game-changer in every sense of the term! As a gaming enthusiast, I have been blown away by the power and performance this console delivers. Firstly, let's talk about the design. The sleek and minimalistic tower-like structure of the Series X is a feast for the eyes. It blends seamlessly into my entertainment setup, and the black matte finish just oozes elegance. The attention to detail is impeccable, right down to the green accent lighting, which adds a touch of coolness. But it's not just about the looks; it's what's on the inside that truly counts. The Xbox Series X boasts an incredibly powerful custom-built processor, allowing for lightning-fast loading times and seamless gameplay. Whether I'm exploring expansive open-world environments or battling it out in intense multiplayer scenarios, the console never fails to provide smooth and lag-free experiences. The graphics capability of the Series X is truly astonishing. With support for up to 4K resolution and stunning HDR, games have never looked more breathtaking. The level of detail is mind-blowing, and the rich colors and vibrant visuals make every gaming session feel like a cinematic experience. And let's not forget about the blazing-fast loading times thanks to the innovative SSD technology. Gone are the days of long load screens. With the Series X, I can jump into my favorite games almost instantly, allowing for more immersive and uninterrupted gameplay. Another standout feature is the Quick Resume. It allows me to switch between multiple games seamlessly, picking up right where I left off, without any tedious loading. This feature alone has enhanced my gaming experience, as I can easily switch between different genres and play a variety of games without missing a beat. Furthermore, the backward compatibility of the Series X is a massive plus. Being able to play my library of Xbox One, Xbox 360, and even original Xbox games on a single console is incredibly convenient. This ensures I have a wide range of titles to choose from, further expanding my gaming possibilities. In terms of connectivity, the Series X offers a plethora of options. With multiple USB ports, HDMI 2.1 support, and a dedicated SSD expansion slot, I can easily connect my peripherals and expand the storage without any hassle. Lastly, I have been thoroughly impressed with the user interface and user experience on the Series X. The updated dashboard is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it a breeze to find and access my games, settings, and other content. Overall, the Xbox Series X is a true masterpiece. From its stunning design to its mind-blowing performance, it sets the bar incredibly high for console gaming. Whether you're a casual gamer or a hardcore enthusiast, this console is an investment that guarantees countless hours of pure gaming bliss. Xbox has once again proven why it remains at the forefront of the gaming industry.

True gaming machine.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always been a PlayStation person because I always felt that PlayStation was more of a gaming machine than a multimedia center. This time around I opted the Xbox over PS5 since it had a slight edge from a graphics standpoint. I also liked the way it looked - like a small black box which could be tucked away next to the TV. And to top it all, the game pass is what made me chose the XBOX. I could play a ton of games and not break the bank. The Xbox runs very silent and some times I don’t even realize that it’s running in the background. I also like the feature when I can jump between games - the quick resume feature. The graphics are breathtaking and I would definitely recommend to get one if you already haven’t.

Great First Day!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was finally able to pick this up through Best Buy yesterday and it is a wonderful machine! I was originally worried about the design being a bit dull but it actually looks very neat and sophisticated in person. I especially love the vents at the top of the machine. As for performance, the system is as snappy as you would expect. I have been testing FIFA 21 and Forza Horizon 4 and both games have performed perfectly with minimum load times. Not to mention the graphics look fantastic on my Samsung 4K TV. I also love the user interface and have spent some time customizing it to make it look simpler. The controller is superb to hold and has a great, comfortable feel to it. I do wish it was a little more ambitious than the Xbox One controller which it resembles but it gets the job done nicely. All in all I am loving this console and look forward to playing some great games on it!

A Promising Future
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been an Xbox gamer since the original Xbox back in 2001. I also play on PlayStation as well. I love games. And if you're looking to enjoy yourself with gaming that has a large catalog of older games that the system can play then I recommend the Xbox Series X and the Game Pass option. When it comes to exclusive titles, I am very anxious for the Xbox exclusive Starfield next year. And then there is the new Fable title coming soon along with some other Xbox-only games in the near future. My point is that there are games coming and don't let anyone say otherwise. Now, I know that you can play Game Pass games on the other Xbox systems but what the Series X offers are speed and large storage. I was amazed at how fast games like Gears of War 4 or the Forza Horizon games loaded up. I honestly like the design of the Series X, it's streamlined and allows you to stand it upright or on its side depending on your gaming space. The controller is still the familiar design that we know from the 2013 Xbox One system but there's a share button added allowing you to quickly create game clips or save a game photo. If you are looking to purchase this system for a friend or a family member then I highly recommend that you know what kind of gamer that person is. Are they a current Xbox fan? Do they like playing the older games that they played on previous systems? I won't get into the weeds about third-party and first-party games since to the uninitiated, it can be confusing. Is this your or their first system? Xbox Series X can play all third-party games such as Assassin's Creed, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Fortnite, etc. The Series X also allows you to access your streaming service apps such as Apple Tv, HBO Max, Netflix, and Disney Plus, to name a few. No matter what you're watching or playing on this system, it's going to look REALLY good. Even older games are enhanced through the Series X system. Depending on your TV, the frame rate for some games is fast. As I mentioned before, if you're worried about Xbox not having exclusives, they are coming and they will make you feel proud about owning the Series X.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you've wanted to truly enjoy console gaming how it was intended to be played, you haven't experienced it unless you have this Xbox. I originally was on the classic Xbox One for a while, until eventually upgrading to the Xbox One X in early 2020. While it certainly was better in many ways from the previous console, it didn't FEEL just right - it still felt like I was being held back from truly playing games the way they were intended. This is by far the complete opposite, the Series X has been my best purchase for console gaming so far. I do plan to get the PS5 down the road when it's back in stock consistently, but honestly - this is my preferred place to play, I'm only getting the PS5 for the novelty and exclusives. To start, the SSD is a game changer. If you've ever felt that your consoles have taken longer than necessary to load even the simplest tasks - i.e. checking menus across the home, loading apps, and loading times in games - you will 1000% notice and appreciate just how speedy this console is. Everything is buttery smooth. It takes quite literally 2 full seconds to go from the Xbox being completely turned off, to having full control and being able to scroll through the menus. If I had 15 seconds to spare, I could turn the console on, check for updates manually, maybe even glance through the store, and turn it off. Essentially, this thing boots up and is functional about as quickly as your phone. NOTHING STUTTERS OR BUFFERS. I am absolutely stunned at how noticeable this improvement is. This also helps an amazing amount in games. After running some tests with my One X and the Series X, EVERYTHING LOADS EXPONENTIALLY FASTER. Switching cars in Forza Horizon 4 is a breeze, photo mode in games takes half a second, pictures of anything on the console (like game icons, or pictures in games/the store) show up instantly. As for power, consider me stunned. I do have a PC with an RTX 3070, and I'm still in awe at how this this thing is on the market for just $500... If you don't care for PC gaming but want the power to run some console games, spring for it, you will NOT regret it. If developers allow, every single game has stable/improved framerates and I'm quite sure it can handle every single game at 60fps, it mostly depends on how lazy or efficient the developers of each game are. Of the developers that optimize their games, I have had practically no games run at 1080p30, everything either runs very very well at 4k, or extremely stable 60fps, on many occasions I have played several games at a buttery smooth and crisp 4k60, like We Happy Few, AC: Valhalla, Call of the Sea, Forza Horizon 4, Grounded, Rocket League, Fortnite, Rogue Company, Sea of Thieves, Tetris Effect, and Windbound. Cyberpunk runs buttery smooth, but I would wait until the glitches are sorted out, it also can tend to look funny, I don't think the graphics look as good as they can get, but it's very much playable on performance mode. Watch Dogs Legion takes advantage of Ray Tracing, which is why it runs at 4k30, but that's still fantastic. This is just in the first few months too, I cannot wait to see how many more games take advantage of the power in this system. Games are great, and if you want a good deal, look no further. I bought a year's worth of Xbox live Gold, and then bought one month of Game Pass Ultimate, applying them in that order to your account will give you over a year of GAME PASS ULTIMATE. Game pass has been an absolutely fantastic service, and I've discovered several amazing titles on there, it truly has lots of variety. As for exclusives, I honestly think this has a better footing than PlayStation this time around. Now, PlayStation had plenty of fantastic exclusives for the PS4, and I played these all on my PS4 Pro, so I would like to say I'm not biased, but I can genuinely say the Xbox has a better lineup of titles, and will continue to have better titles as time goes on, I'm very confident with the direction Microsoft is taking Xbox, and it looks very promising. I don't have a PS5 yet so of course you have to use your due diligence if you're debating between the two, but I don't see much of a benefit by going to PlayStation as far as I'm aware. I'm not even done with the review too, there's so much to talk about. The cooling system is absolutely phenomenal. Even when running games at 4k60, 4k30RT, or super intensive games, I cannot get any more than a whisper out of this thing, the fan is dead silent, it's literally quieter than my notebook laptop most of the time, even during intense gameplay. I put my hand over it to feel the heat and I hardly feel that much, especially compared to the cooling in the One X, which was far louder in comparison, with the heat making the back of the console a literal pain to touch. Even after hours of intense graphical gameplay, I don't think I could get this thing to get "hot", it hardly gets warm as it is. Microsoft wasn't lying about the cooling system, it's genuinely impressive, I can guarantee you will not hear this fan, even without headphones, it's quieter than my Switch 100% of the time. Ergonomics are not something you think about, but this design has seriously grown on me. At the reveal, I thought the console was far too basic, but right now I'm in love with how cleannnnnn it looks on my shelf. It's not too big, not too chunky, and just tall enough, although I wish the Series S was just a cube lol. If you're iffy on the design, just wait until it blends perfectly onto your shelf or stand - although I must warn everyone considering that it probably won't fit in your shelf, so you may want to think of a different spot to place it. It also doesn't look the best on its side, so I would recommend a vertical space. For a height reference, it's just above half the vertical length of my 43" TV, hope it helps. It's also a bit denser than you may expect, but it's not really "heavy." Overall, this delivers phenomenally. For $500, I can guarantee you will be happy with this for at least 3/4 more years. So if you're on the fence and want something to last, and may not usually care about the newest tech, get it - trust me. The Series S is not a wise investment as it'll just be functionally outdated soon enough, but you will not be disappointed and this thing'll last for a loooooong time. Jump the gun and go for it, yes you! The graphical capabilities are unreal for the price, the future looks very promising, and after being in love with the PS4 exclusives, I can guarantee you will likely find more enjoyment out of the Xbox this time around, it's doing very well, although I don't think the PS5 is anywhere near bad, just take my suggestion with a grain of salt. If you're sick of loading, this is your godsend, take it and run. Hope this helped anyone on the fence. I absolutely would recommend.

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely incredible. I love the quick resume feature. The games I've played run amazingly smooth with great load times. Haven't had any issues whatsoever. I am completely amazed by this console. The new controller is very similar but a great improvement. It has a great weight and feel and the overall shape is very comfortable. Setting up the console has never been as easy, being able to do everything through my phone. I didn't think going from one x to series x would be such a large improvement but I am pleasantly surprised to find what I thought was another incremental improvement has completely reinvigorated my desire to play through my library. Doom eternal and sekiro have blown my mind running on this system not to mention the optimized titles like ori and valhalla. I dont see how anyone could regret upgrading to the new generation. Absolutely worth it.

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Xbox Series X as an upgrade for myself and was so amazed by it, I ended up buying a second one for my wife not long after. My wife and I enjoy gaming together, but prefer separate screens for a better view, so being we both had an Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, it is only fitting to grab the Series X and continue to legacy. We were very big in to Call of Duty, Halo, Ghost Recon and GTA on the previous consoles and simply playing on the Xbox one compared to this is definitely noticeable and impressive. GTA 5 would normally take about 5-20 mins to get into the game, not even online but the actual loading screen and with the Xbox Series X it's like a miracle! As soon as I click the game icon it's loaded in less than 60 seconds most times and then going into the online mode and not much longer (playing on the Xbox One version of the game via Series X console). COD and Halo load very fast and graphics on all the games look 20x better. I grew up in the NES, SNES, Sega and PS1 days where I am used to the old school graphics, but I am spoiled with how games look these days that I don't want to go back. Even Goldeneye from Gamepass looks better than it did on the N64, and that's saying something since those were the epic gaming days. Go grab yourself a Series X, you won't regret it! (And grab a spare memory card... didn't think I'd have to say that these days, but seems like they're coming back in style... just a lot pricier; however, much needed if you plan to store a lot of playable games)

I finally got one
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a couple of months of trolling Best Buy and *those other retailers*, I finally got one of these bad boys. My review will come from the perspective of upgrading from an Xbox One X rather than a flat review since there are so many of those. I want to talk more about the improvements I paid for rather than the services I already had. Pros 1. Everything loads vastly faster. I load into Destiny 2 faster than even my SSD-toting Xbox One X friends and games like Halo Wars 2 don't even load the full splash screen before it loads the main menu. It's definitely noticeable and it's very pleasant. 2. Games play much more consistently and with fewer frame drops. De-syncs in Halo Wars 2 were a big problem that I don't experience anymore. The only bit of frame dropping I've seen are loading screens on NHL 21 where the music robots out a bit while it's loading into a game. That's it. I have seen zero frame drops elsewhere. 3. Being able to play some games at 60FPS is wonderful. I don't play Destiny 2 on my PC anymore because I get the full FOV and 60FPS game play on a console. Many games still don't support 60FPS, but the ones that don't still get performance improvements as I described above. 4. The controller is better. The D-Pad is more clickly, the controller is more grippy, and the triggers are quieter and smoother. It's not insanely different, but it's more refined than the previous generation. 5. Auto HDR is a thing. It's kinda nice sometimes and, tbh, some games look better with auto HDR than other games do with built-in HDR (game developers haven't figured out HDR yet). 6. 4k/HDR/60FPS on a console is insane. I know, I know "PC with the right build blah blah", but I don't have to price shop Newegg for computer parts on sale and this is easier to set-up. 7. The mini-fridge aesthetic makes it easier to dust and keep clean. Plus, the skins market for this thing is amazing so far. 8. All my old Xbox One peripherals work. My wireless headset, my old controllers, and even my old Microsoft Play'n'Charge kit works in my new Xbox Series X controller. I didn't have to replace any of my existing peripherals to make this work, which I appreciaed. 9. I can still play and voice chat with all my Xbox One friends. 10. As of yet, I have experienced no outstanding issues that aren't already "known issues" by Microsoft (like my controller just stopped being recognized by the Series X and only a reboot fixed it, but MS knows about that and they're investigating). 11. It may be because my Xbox One X was ancient (I bought it on release day), but my Series X is so much quieter that it freaked me out at first. Going to what would usually be a "high fan" activity in a game and hearing nothing was really weird. Neutral 1. I did have to buy a new controller charging cable (USB-A to USB-C). The new controller is USB-C which is great because it's modern. However, many of my old peripherals still use Micro-USB so I bought a four pack of USB-C to Micro-USB adapters from *some other place* so I can use the same cable. It's a very, VERY minor annoyance, but something I wanted to mention. You may have to deal with the switch to USB-C controller connections. It's annoying because it's a change, but it's good because USB-C is better than Micro-USB. Cons 1. It's a box lol. This thing doesn't fit in my entertainment stand whatsoever and sits off on a (very sturdy) side table all on its own like a spoiled brat. That leaves me with an empty entertainment center with a TV on it lol. 2. If my Xbox does run into a problem that they can't fix with a repair at Microsoft, I have no idea how long it'll take a replacement to ship with all of the inventory shortages and issues. That makes me a little nervous as an early adopter, but, ynow, yolo, so I'll stress about it if it actually happens. 3. Finally, I'm a bit apprehensive about the top vent. It's massive and the holes are massive. I am concerned about long term dust issues. I don't want to tear it apart because I don't want to void the warranty, but I've heard that you're not supposed to place it on its side and I'd honestly feel a lot better if I could place this thing on its side. Overall, I love my Series X. This thing is powerful. It feels powerful. The box shape makes it easy to customize. The new controller feels modern and and like a more refined improvement over the previous generation. However, it still delivers that comfortable Xbox One style experience while also still feeling new somehow. Many of my games have FPS bumps and all of my games have performance improvements. I have had only one crash in nearly 2 months of ownership (and it was Destiny 2, which crashes all the time anyway), which isn't any better or worse than my Xbox One X. Compared to the crash issues PS5 owners are experiencing with with how massive an unwieldy the PS5 is, it blows my mind that people say that PS5 won this gen's console war. This thing makes me very happy.

This is a Xbox PC
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is a phat ol beast. Its beautiful, i mean its big and a rectangular black im gonna control you one day carol type of plastic but man. The games like The medium and Gears anything looks beyond beautiful. Valhalla looks and plays amazing definitely love booting it on and going to quick resume while graveyard keeper is chilling on the back burner anytime i wanna switch back. Loving the quick resume it sometimes gets a little weird with online games but thats understandable. Only thing i dislike is the heat it poops out on the top kinda makes you think but seems nothing essential is up that far in the console and it doesnt get to crazy like a laptop playing witcher 3 on max settings so Im happy
