the best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best console on the market: quiet, powerful, with backward compatibility and free upgrades for older titles. And it's beautiful. Even better when combined with Game Pass.

Packs a Powerful Punch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited as long as I could before upgrading to this machine from my One X due to the cost. But certain games that my buddies started playing were not available on the One X. It runs waaaay faster than the One X. When games go from the pre-game lobby to start, I actually am loaded and waiting before the round begins; whereas with the One X, I wouldn’t load into the game until about 30-40 seconds had already passed. It is smooth, download times are much faster and game play has improved with the faster processing speeds. I have been very pleased with my purchase and hope to have this one last 6+ years like my One X did. Also, the textured controller is very comfortable in the hand…it’s a minor change, but I like the feel and response of the controller. One complaint is that the controller charging port is a different USB from the previous generation, so it doesn’t fit in my controller charging dock. But the package includes the cord needed to charge the new controller. I also like the fact that you can run the machine in a horizontal or vertical position depending on your positioning needs for your setup. The price is a bit higher than I prefer, but ask for some gift cards to help reduce the pain; it is worth the upgrade!

Xbox series x is great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the Xbox series x on release and am thoroughly enjoying it. It is great having the Xbox game pass to have access to a lot of games including some newly released ones. Enjoying the graphics with 4k resolution. Quick resume is awesome for the games that support it and the shortened load times for games is great.

Well worth the investment!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It tends to run a little hot so you might want to invest in a cooling fan for it. Other than that its amazing! Graphics are awesome and load times compared to the Xbox one are non existant.

Lucky Gamer
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always loved to play videos games since I was a kid with an Atari to the original Nintendo. I was lucky to buy the Xbox Series X and it's a well built system that is fast, delivers great graphics, is quiet and does not get overheated. If you are able to buy one I highly recommend doing so.

Amazing Current Gen Console
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series X is a major improvement from the Xbox One in performance and storage. Load times and start times last a few seconds, and most games run at a consistent 60 frames per second. This applies to most games, but games that have been optimized for the Xbox Series x have an "X/S" symbol. Games that haven’t been optimized for the Series X will run the Xbox One X version, with more consistent performance; the same applies to the graphics. The only problem is that, once again, the packaged controller comes with Double A batteries, not a rechargeable battery. That is a seperate purchase. Aside from that, the Xbox Series X is an amazing console.

Excellent for new customers! OK for existing ones.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cosmetically it lives up to its name. Its just a box, but with its color and simplicity, it fits perfectly on any kind of furniture. Im very impressed with its performance. Playing Xbox One titles on the Series X is a breath of fresh air. Most 1st party and some 3rd party titles take advantage of its new tech and enhancement updates. Games that run in 30 fps, now run 60 or even 120 with built in HDR depending on the title. Loading screen time is drastically reduced because of its new SSD card. The Series X give you fast access to games with its new feature called "Quick Resume", where you can jump from one game to another without losing progression or needing to restart the game(most efficient with offline mode games). You can turn off or restart your console and the game will start exactly where you left off. The controller that comes with the console is the exactly same design as the Xbox One with just a few tweaks. There's no rubber like the elite controller but it does have small textures in the back for better grip. There's also tiny bumps on the triggers so your fingers don't slip. They added a share button right below the guide button to save screen shots or record gameplay much faster. The D pad is loud but its edges are improved for better feel especially with fighting games. Microsoft became consumer friendly so no need to buy new controllers, headsets, or keypads if you already own them on the Xbox One. Just plug in and play. If you have games from your XBO external HDD, you can connect it to the Series X and play all your games. They also have a huge library of backwards compatibility games from OG Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One and on top of that, they offer Gamepass. A monthly subscription service where you access hundreds of games from big name publishers. If you're not gaming its also a good tool for multi media. It has a 4k blu ray drive, stream movies, TV shows, sports, and access to mainstream subscription services. Now for the bad....Halo Infinite was suppose to launch with the Series X but got delayed so no new next gen exclusive games as of now. The Series X comes with 1TB of memory to store games. It won't be enough when games are more complex and big on file size. If you don't mind uninstalling games to install others that's fine, but I enjoy the convenience of having access to all my new and old games. So for the external SSD card they are offering, its not worth it. Hoping 3rd party manufacturers make an inexpensive one with more storage down the line. It feels next gen but it doesn't look like it. I get what Microsoft is doing, creating a next gen console to be apart of the Xbox family with the Xbox One and Series S, but with the same interface as the XBO, and although i do appreciate the console and controller design, its still leaves me left to be desired for something a bit different. Feels like I'm looking at a XBO 2.0 imo. Overall its an excellent console with so much potential. I recommend to pick one up if you're new to gaming or a Playstation customer looking for a different platform to experience. Its well worth it especially with gamepass giving you so much variety. If you already have an Xbox one with gamepass and looking to get a Series X, go for it, but if you miss your chance of getting one now, don't sweat it because you're not missing out on anything. Best to wait a little longer.

Great price fast delivery
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using my Xbox for quite a while now, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The graphics are outstanding, with smooth gameplay and impressive detail that make every game feel immersive. Load times are incredibly fast, especially with newer titles, allowing me to jump into games almost instantly. The controller is one of the most comfortable I've ever used. It feels great in my hands, the button layout is intuitive, and the battery life is excellent. Xbox Game Pass is another huge advantage, offering an incredible library of games for a reasonable monthly price. I've discovered many amazing titles that I probably never would have purchased otherwise. The online experience is reliable, with stable multiplayer connections and an easy-to-use interface. Navigating menus, downloading games, and managing friends is simple and straightforward. I also appreciate how well the Xbox works as an entertainment hub, making it easy to stream movies, TV shows, and music. Overall, the Xbox offers outstanding value for both casual and dedicated gamers. Between its excellent performance, extensive game library, user-friendly features, and dependable online services, it's one of the best gaming systems I've owned. I would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality gaming and entertainment console.

Best Console To Date
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love it! You don’t ever hear the fan, it’s so quiet even after hours of gaming. I hear the disc drive more (only when first inserting it). It’s sleek and can blend in with household furniture/decorations. I have no disconnection issues, no drive issues, no issues whatsoever with the console. If there’s one thing about this I can nitpick on, it’s that I first had it stored in a cupboard (always a bad idea) but the thing made the cupboard like a sauna so it certainly runs hot when the airflow is impeded. I definitely recommend getting the expansion card though. With the games being so huge (Call of Duty Cold War takes 200GB alone), you definitely want that card. I’ve owned Playstations and Xbox in the past and the online servers for PlayStation were down so often, I got sick of it and have never had an issue on any Xbox. For reference, I’ve owned PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360S, Xbox One and now the Series X. Trust me when I say XBox beats PlayStation for online gaming.

The Next Chapter: Xbox Series X
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are trying to find a reason to compare this to PS5, leave this review. This ain't for you and won't be some "console war" type review telling you why the other sucks. The Series X is a proper powerhouse and testament to Microsoft's commitment to gaming. From amazing graphics to Quick resume, this system delivers the experience you expect from a next-gen console. GamePass is nothing short of the greatest deal to ever hit the videogame industry, for a small cost monthly getting access to hundreds of games that would cost you substantially more if you were to purchase them all separately. With Microsoft currently acquiring more and more studios, the future of games available on Series X will be exceptional, with Halo Infinite releasing in November. If you are looking for a console with performance gaming as its main focus with s huge library of current and future games, this console will not disappoint.

The backward compatibility feature is a game-changer, letting you revisit and enjoy your favorite titles from previous generations. Totally Worth the upgrade and the best is coming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very nice upgrade from my old XBOX ONE X.......it is ridiculously fast and upgrading took minutes. All your old accessories work even the rechargeable battery packs for the controllers. Moving your old games over from your console was simple as plug and play of your external HDD. Whisper quiet and does not emit much heat or almost any sound. Nice design that while it does not glaringly stick out on top next to my TV. Everything just runs faster and older games look fantastic and run smoothly. New games are gorgeous that I've tested on my 4K HDTV. Only issue in beginning was that the Series X does not support streaming to Windows 10 PCs like the old Xbox One models (but this if easily fixable by installing the Windows 10 Beta Streaming app and it works great). Console streaming to my android phones/tablets works flawlessly outside of the house too. Xbox Game Pass + EA Play is killing it and you don't have to spend $70 on games as they are all available to you immediately.

An enjoyable experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using it for about 4 hrs everyday since I've been furloughed since August. Its something new so I've been playing nonstop. It is extremely quiet. I do have to turn around to make sure its still on. Heat is minimal even with Cod cold war. Its solid and well built. I did have to move some things to a different shelf so this stands proud by itself. Quick resume is really a game changer as everyone has already stated. Load times are quick and the ui is snappy. I was a little disappointed that it was the same as my old Xbox one s. You buy into a new generation and its a little disappointing. Not a deal breaker but a letdown none the less. Controller is much the same from the last generation which basically equates to being a perfect controller. D pad is improved and the overall texture and size seems to have been improved somehow. New Exclusives are non existent right now but will come in time. I am one of those people that enjoy gamepass and what it has to offer so to each their own.

Maybe My Favorite Console So Far
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This could be one of my favorite consoles of all time. It plays a majority of original Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One games with better performance and, in many cases, graphical enhancements. The new controller has been refined to near perfection, although it isn't much different from the Xbox One controller. It's a tiny bit smaller with added grip on the backside, a better concave d-pad and a new screenshot button. The graphics of the new games are fantastic (although it is early in the generation, so I expect massive improvements in a year or so). I also have a Playstation 5 and so far they are neck and neck in terms of performance and graphics, but I expect Xbox to pull away in terms of better looking multiplatforms games, but PS5 to have the overall better looking and playing exclusives. But Xbox could surprise us all, especially with the recent acquisition of Bethesda Software. If you have the money and love Xbox, this is a worthy upgrade to the Xbox One and even the Xbox One X.

Love my series x!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This console is such a leap ahead of my current Xbox one s….no comparison. Loading times, speed of switching through in game menus, 60fps. I’ll never play my one s again more than likely. Runs destiny 2 as easily as if it were a small mobile game. Absolutely flawless. I have always loved the Xbox platform. I like the tweaks they made to the new series x controller but can’t believe they haven’t made the jump to rechargeable like the PS4 and PS5. I really wish the controller was rechargeable but it’s not a deal breaker. Picked up a set of rechargeable batteries on Amazon which fixed the issue of burning through AAs. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth the upgrade even without a ton of series x exclusives it definitely is. The series x upgrades for older Xbox games make a huge difference. I don’t think the bundles that some other retailers are worth it which was why I loved the fact that Best Buy offered console only.

Better than XB1X, but missing killer title.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft best Xbox in value and performance. All my backwards compatible games worked out of the box. The system boots fast, and it's probably the quietest console I've heard. You have to try to hear the system when it's running. In terms of heat it runs cool, the air exhausted feels a cool warm if that makes sense. Nothing that would make your hand feel uncomfortable by any stretch of the imagination. In terms of games they play better on the XSX compared to my XB1X and the fast loading is much appreciated. Is the overall fidelity a big leap? No, I think this generation is all about performance. Now I can't drop 4K for 1440P higher FPS. I like crispness over FPS like 120 or 60. High detail constant 30FPS with good motion blur is better than 60 FPS with reduce detail in my opinion. With gift card I got it for $427 after tax so I applied the extra money towards game pass (2 in a half years) along with expandable storage I applied another gift to knock off about $100.

Amazing machine even better with Game Pass!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine is a beast!! I am not here to do the "Xbox vs. PS5" debate. I actually own both and think they are amazing machines! The thing I thinks makes the Xbox Series X a must have for me is the powerful hardware and the must have Xbox Game pass. With these two in combo you have every game you could want for an excellent price! I can place triple A games on Day 1 on my Xbox Series X without having to pay $69.99 like I do on my PS5 and the quality is out of this world! The only difference I see in the machines is the PS5 controller (outstanding) and exclusives. But if you want a lot of games in your library without breaking the bank the Xbox Series X with Game Pass is the way to go! Sony hasn't got anything in place to complete worth wild. Maybe in time but for now you get more with Xbox. PS5 has some killer games but you will have to pay for them and they do kick butt. So you choose, or if you can get both! Game on!

Massive Upgrade from My Old AW XB1 Console
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was rocking the Advanced Warfare Xbox One for many, many years and was getting to the point where I was having console lag and crashes. Best Buy had a great deal on this for Black Friday and giftcard and decided to splurge. This thing is sick nasty! Performance: If you don't have a 4k TV or Monitor (I use a 4k Samsung Monitor) you will not get the full experience here. I had brought this over to my friends house and he only has a 1080p HD TV and I didn't get near the same quality. The HDR is amazing, it is a feature you need to experience on a 4k display. Games like Fortnite and GTA look like brand new games. Super smooth, sharp detailing, and it stays quiet and cool. I also love how you can switch between games without having to restart them. I didn't know this was a thing and it is amazing to switch between games with very minimal wait time. Storage: 1TB is not enough storage, luckily, you can expand it easily with an expansion card that plugs in the back of the unit. You can also do what I do and use an external SSD drive which works fine for my needs. If I ever need more storage I know I have expandability options. Ports: You have 3 USB ports- 2 in the back and one in the front. This should be plenty to charge your controller with the play and charge kit, expand storage and for usb connected headphones. However, if you have old astros, you will need to upgrade because there is no optical port. You can also get a special connector for optical usage but it is not a deal breaker. Of course you have HDMI, ETHERNET, and the expandable drive slot. Controller: Wish it had built in battery charger like PS5 does. However, the play and charge kits work fine and it makes sense they do this as internal batteries (like any batteries) will wear out overtime. Easy replacement! Controller feels comfortable, just wish they made the thumbstick a little larger for my big thumbs. I love the quick share option and I can use it on my iPad with Bluetooth for playing games on there. Overall it is awesome controller. Overall Review: Yes, it is worth the price. This thing is killer and if you already have a 4k display do spend the extra money and get the series X. I was going back and forth on this and I am so glad I got the best one available. The performance, speed, and overall visual experience is superior and Microsoft knows how to make a great gaming system being my last console lasted almost a decade (9 years).
