Rechargeable battery drains fast!

I used different rechargeable batteries, same poor performance! Will never recommend this product.

Posted .Hi Leecap, if you are having issues with your radio you can always call Midland customer service at 816-241-8500 M-F 8am-4:30pm CST. The radios have a 3 year warranty.

They work fine for that but we tested on the road to see what distance we could muster. Not much I must say.

Posted .The radios can go up to 26 in perfect conditions with a clear line of sight. If there are a lot of trees or other obstructions the range can and will vary.

The range is great, easy to use and battery lasts a good long while.
