I like the tremendous range of the radio and it’s easy to use features

good for emergencies, good value, easy to especially for weather alerts

Forgot I had turned in the weather alert. It went off and I thought it was the house alarm. I’m calling everyone! Then it went off again and we figured it out. It’s loud. It works. I only got it for an emergency, so don’t care what the radio sounds like.

Love the noaa band and the hand crank is great jn emergency situations.

YES this works and gives me the backup I wanted when I might not hear tornado sirens. I wish I could limit its range a bit - but the weather radio station often gives me information for bad weather happening a couple counties away. Not the radio's fault, but the station. I'm very glad I purchased this.

Very good reception, speakers are old-school small, not for music.

My father requested a radio with the weatherband on it for when the power goes out. Its rechargeable or you can wind it to charge. He likes it.

A great NOAA radio with self powering ability. It’s reasonably priced, but with that the radio is small and as a daily radio it’s limited by the size and range. But for backpacking or an emergency kit, it’s just right. The handle for cranking the energy is a little cheap though, but it works just fine.

I bought this in the event that the power goes out or my phone doesn't work/have service and I need another way to get weather updates. It works great but the only thing I do not like is the alert sound. It is an extremely loud high pitched squeal noise that is very startling and cannot be changed or volume adjusted. I understand it needs to be loud in the event of an important weather alert but it would be better if I didn't practically fall out of my chair every time it went off. You have to turn off the alert setting in order to prevent the sound from going off after any and every noaa weather update.

We are constantly being made aware of severe weather so this radio comes in handy if/when the power goes out. Be sure to read the settings for the weather radio so it won’t go off during small thunderstorm, etc. Great purchase!

Works as advertised. Alarm is a little scary the first time it goes off, but you will wake up if a storm is coming at night while you are asleep.

Good radio. Voice is clear and easy to understand. Light is pretty bright. The hand crank is not so impressive. Seems kind of flimsy and a little awkward to crank. I keep it next to a west facing window so the solar panel gets afternoon sun and it is staying fully charged.

Great product. Bought o e for myself then I purchased one for my mother. She stated that it came in handy when her power went out. Would highly recommend for everyone to have at least in their household.

Good Incase of a missle attack. Or hiking in the mountain

An essential for canoeing in the boundary waters. Could check weather for the evening and the following day and had along in case of weather emergencies. Used it at home in the basement when the power went out.
