Certainly a pair of cheap walkie talkies!

I can't really attest to their claim of a 28 mile radius, I couldn't get more than a mile before the signal started breaking up but I live in a fairly dense area so that might be a me problem. But hey, they do work.

I used to use them with my kid... taking one when I walked the dog... we tended to play 'drive-thru'... example: "schrssshhh mmmmm nake your erder plee scrhchshsh" (and never get the order right)
