They worked great for me while hunting in the mountains. Not sure about 38 miles away (line of site) but they work well at a reasonable distance.

Nice upgrade from my old x-talker t51vp3. It has better battery life and more channels. I haven't really had a chance to test out the range. Will add to this review shortly.

I originally bought these for a camping trip with my kids. They worked great even in mountainous terrain. I use them for communication for security on work sites, recreation and everything in between. They haven't failed me yet. Lots of options for professional use.

use for convoy travel and is a great alternative when you are trying to stay in contact on the road. when you are in areas with no cell coverage these come in handy to stay in touch with everyone.

Great Radios, They worked as described long range signal is strong.They even have a shock load resistance which I like and it tells you the weather. It's a great buy for you that are looking for walkie talkies.

Bought these to use when shopping with my wife. We can find one another. Better than a cell phone. Also use when my wife is in the house and i am outside . I am in my 70's and this is easy to use. With poor vision better than cell phone and cheaper.
