This is a great historical account of the battle of Midway with great sound and picture. Crank the volume up on your surround sound system and buckle up. Planes will be flying over your head and dropping bombs in your living room.

I enjoyed the movie and its close attention to historical detail and the view point of the Battle of Midway through the eyes of the crew of the carrier Enterprise. If you enjoy movies based on real events this is one to watch especially if you like history.

I love WWII movies and this one was awesome! Bought several Blu-rays on Black Friday and a have been enjoying them during this pandemic. Has been enjoying time with my wife and enjoying good movies and homemade dinners with one another.

MIDWAY focuses on Navy dive bomber pilot Richard Best, the unsung hero of the Battle of Midway. Best sank the Japanese flagship/carrier Akagi and helped sink the carrier Hiryu. Best was not mentioned in the 1976 Charlton Heston movie MIDWAY, so this new movie corrects that big omission. The video quality is very good and the CGI is also very good,

Midway is a movie that seems to factually tell of the battle for Midway. The courage and bravery of the men that fought the battle was really incredible. Great movie to watch and listen to on a good home theater system. Buy it , you will enjoy it.

The movie arrived in excellent condition and the digital codes worked perfectly. The movie itself was amazing. It was a lot of green screen, but, the fact that the plot was actual History, you overlook the green screen and are sucked into the story.

This was purchased for my husband as a gift. He said the scenes and color with sound was amazing. We just recently started getting in the Steelbook we collect dvds for our family so this just adds something extra being in this case.

This is how you do a steelbook. Aproper acetate slipcover to protect the delicate paint. Every steelbook should have one. Every collector wants this ffs. The film is a Roland Emmerich CGI patriotic action popcorn fest. Thumbs up.

Roland Emmerich succeeds in his historical account of the most important naval battle of the Pacific in WWII. Good cast and excellent special effects....and you will definitely learn and understand where the term "dive bomber" came from.....good movie.

It's a cut and dry war story detailing events of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor that involved the US in WWII. The special effects are excellent and from what I understand, the accuracy of what happened is almost on the spot.

Much better then I thought it would be! Largely accurate. I watched with my 82 year old WW2 buff father who loved it. I was surprised it included not just Midway but Perl Harbor and the build up to Midway as part of the story.

Great movie in 4K with excellent clarity for the special effects this movie has. and action. Better than blu-ray if you have the supported equipment. Digital copy is great for putting it on a ipad or phone to watch while your away from home.

Roland Emmerich is basically Michael Bay with a little more "Depth" in his explosions and cast. Midway tells the story of Pearl Harbor, yet again. But from the Godzilla/ID4 Special Effect auteur. While they don't tread any new ground here. It's always fun to see an ensemble that is pretty standard fair in a RE picture.

I am drawn to historical movies that try to portray things as closely as reasonably possible to how things really played out. I felt like I learned a little history from this movie... and was also really impressed with the scenes from the perspective of the "dive bombers".

This was one of the best war movies in the last 10 years, it was so much better than the original midway movie of the 1970s, there was a lot of action and the CGI was great, it had awesome video and audio I highly recommend this movie

I was quite impressed with the story lines that were focused on. Lots of explosions to good effect at Battleship Row on Sunday 12/7/41, but showing Admirals Nimitz, Spruance and Fletcher as the human beings they were. Well worth the re-telling!

A great story of what happened at Midway. I didn’t really know the history about this time period but after watching this movie it gave me some insight. Very action-packed, made you feel as though you were in that time period.

It's about the battle of Midway and the events that lead up to it and the people who led them into battle. Also the people behind tha scenes that led up to victory. It had an all-star cast.

Excellent remake of this subject. Well acted and the special effects were very good, especially the dive bomber runs, feels like your in the cockpit. Saw this on Cable premium movie channel but had to get it in 4K and glad I did.

The actors did a great job, it moved very fast through the events. It gave a different view of the battle of Midway and held my interest. The scenes were very intense and vivid. It would make a great history documentary for kids on up to adult.
