I've seen this movie several times both on Blu-Ray and streaming. I have mixed feelings about the story telling but the visuals and Dolby Atmos are incredible and make for a fun watch. 4K disk is the way to go.

Amazing picture and sound quality telling the true story of the Battle of Midway, the turning point of WWII in the Pacific. Video and audio are reference-level quality and the All-Star cast is amazing.

I am a bit of a wwii history buff. This is so historically accurate it’s amazing. I loved it!! Rarely ever buy a movie because I rarely watch them more than once, but I saw this at the theater and wanted to see it again.

If you like airplanes, bullets, bombs, and high impact explosions this is the movie for you. Play it on surround sound and you'll be at awe! The storyline is great and the special effects extraordinary! I gave it 5 stars.

I now only buy must have movies. I have a seeet spot for war movies. This movie fit all my criteria. It’s a Great War movie and it involves airplanes and ships. It’s like getting an extra cherry on your malt.

Terrific Movie that puts you in the seat of these bombers, torpedo planes, ships helms, etc. The cinematography is outstanding. The story line is fabulous as it follows the main characters throughout the entire movie.

One of the sharpest pictures I have ever seen in 4K. The action almost appeared to leap off the screen. Detail like the 4K Midway displays is why I bought an OLED TV and a 4K disc player. Fantastic!

I watched it his movie with some family members and we all felt the same about it. It was worth watching but it lacked much suspense or cathartic finish to the portrayal of this great WWII naval battle. Still, it’s a worthwhile watch but lacks the energy and flair some of the old military movies from the 60’s or 70’s had.

The movie surprised me since a lot of new things were added to the movie to make it more interesting then it already was. As far as the quality it was worth buying just for that. A great one for any movie collection.

The quality of the disc and the extras are great - I was personally hoping for a little more out of the movie itself, being a WW2 aviation buff. Even so, I'm still happy that I bought it - I'll watch it every now and then. Definitely not a "one and done" kind of movie.

It was a good movie, I enjoyed it! Lots of great special effects, albeit digital, but still very nice! It was no pearl harbor movie thats for sure. I just think that the 4K presentation leaves a bit more to be desired. It doesn’t look that much different from the standard bluray. But 4K still better!

Got this on sale and it is so worth getting this in 4K. Love that it comes also with the digital copy as well as blue ray. Gave me so much more information that I ever learned in history class.

I am huge WWII fan and I was pretty excited when I heard Midway was being made! Action is great but my only knock is I feel they skip over some stuff leading up to the Battle of Midway. Still recommend watching it!

I really enjoy buying the combination videos of Blu-ray, Digital copy and Ultra HD Blu-ray discs. I have several different appliances to play DVD's on and this kind of product works the best for me.

This movie was great and portrayed the valor & bravery of our military boys that turned the tide of WW2. The photography was excellent and the aerial fight scenes were awesome as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie!

A great retelling of the actual events of WWII. This was the true turning point in the Pacific during WWII. Failure was not an option and this movie brings it out in a real sense for the viewer.

I dont know why but it seems as if the critics bash movies that regular people like me purely enjoy. I thought this movie was fantastic. Obviously a true story and i felt it was well done, well acted and well written. I will be honest, i dont know what these critics didnt like. Plenty of action to boot. Highly recommended.

I'm usually not big on war movies because they tend to drag on but this is one of the rare gems that has a good balance of story and action and does a great job of keeping you intrested the whole way through the film.

I really enjoyed the thrill ride of feeling like your in the cockpit and submersed in the story line. The 4K version was definitely the way to go with this one.

Not that this is a bad movie, it's really good. But they added the attack on Pearl Harbor, instead of showing the whole story of why the Battle of Midway was successful. The original movie focused more on just the Battle of Midway. But I watched it twice in a couple days, so it's still a very entertaining movie as well.
