Great writing, acting, suspense and amazing cinematography! If you are into war movies, with lots of action this is a modern classic that will age well.

This was a pivotal battle in WWII and a defining moment that has been brought to life in this well produced movie. I think the movie does itself justice in honoring all of those who served during that war.

Excellent movie drama action suspense good photography, especially the effects of the bombs and the bite of the planes keep you in suspense and expectation, I recommend it.

I bought this movie to watch with my dad. He is a huge history buff. I was shocked to find myself equally as into the movie as he was! Special effects were great and I really got an understanding of the era

Great World War 2 movie. This capture the biggest battle in Navy. Two super power battling it out. Great HD movies and replica of the WWII battleships, fighter jets, Dive bombers, carriers.

I'm a history buff and enjoyed the accuracy of this movie. Although it was not 4K our new Sony 4K upgraded the quality of this Blue Ray to almost 4K and it was excellent. Our Sony came from Best Buy too!

It's a good movie, great 4K visuals and fantastic sound. And a very cool Steelbook. Love it! LIONSGATE is killin it with these great Steelbooks. Also Hope Bestbuy continues to create exclusive Steelbooks for new movies.

I really enjoyed this film. Watched it not long after reading a book about Midway. They really tried to capture as much the story as possible with this film. Love the steelbook packaging!

I love this movie and the special effects are outstanding. The battle scenes appear so real that you would swear that they are from the actual battles.

This was a good movie with a plot intertwined with historical facts from the accounts of the Battle of Midway. The movie looks and sounds excellent in 4K. Recommend watching for sure!

A lot of work went into getting it right with historical facts. Many realistic scenes to display the horrors of war. The Japanese were not dehumanized in this , but shows the depravity of mankind.

Great special effects, good acting, well-budgeted. I'm a Navy vet myself, so a lot of the things they showed the Navy do was inaccurate and sensationalized for Hollywood. But what do you expect?

I purchased this movie to get the real story as told by the men and women who were there. And this movie seems more true to life than the older version. I really enjoyed the special effects in this one.

A good representation of the events from Pearl Harbor to the Midway battle. Lots of action and great aerial shots of the fighting. The special effects are better then previous movies on this subject.

Definitely have to pick this movie Up for those of us who love the genre. You won't be disappointed plenty of action suspense you will see how we took care of business back in the day pick it up today

Picked this up on sale and after watching questioned why I ever waited. Atmos mix is among the best I’ve ever heard. Steelbook and slipcover are really nice too. Good popcorn film.

Midway kept me on my toes and into the movie from start to finish and the aerial fight sequences were awe inspiring. This movie grips you from start to finish and is a true story from WW2.
