Saw the much older version of this story with the same name. This was not a remake, but an well done attempt to capture a few of the main players in this historic event and tell their story.

Great movie. Pretty accurate to events. Computer graphics were fantastic. If you’re into Dolby Atmos this movie covers all the bases.

I love when history is put to the big screen so others can instead of imagining things they can see for their own eyes what happened in the past.

Seen it at the theater when it came out and thought it was pretty good. Purchase the movie for home and watched it and it was a lot better. Idk.

Nice modern film version with better with CGI effects as compared to the original live action Midway film.

The video and audio are fabulous in 4K. Really gives you the feeling that you are actually "there." Very enjoyable viewing experience.

This movie was great. True story of American heroes who against odds scored a great victory against the Japanese Navy. So proud of what they did.

Plenty of action to give your home theatre a workout. Excellent picture and sound, especially with an Atmos-enabled sound system.

Some scenes seemed overly processed and fake especially when it came to the fire effects. Don't take it too seriously and simply enjoy it for what it is. Not enough time was taken to establish characters or their relationships.

Midway is an excellent war movie. Some have complained that it is too long, but I disagree. This is a story that needed to be told.

First, I bought this steelbook not having seen the movie in a theater. The steelbook is absolutely gorgeous with a clear slip that protects the artwork (part of the reason I was tempted to buy it). Unfortunately, the movie is pretty lackluster. There is WAY TOO MUCH CGI and you can tell. This may not be a big deal for some people, but I hate it and find it really distracting. I like practical effects SO much more. The movie overall was pretty boring, which is a shame because this is such a fascinating and important event in world history. If you like the artwork, buy it. If you are looking for a good movie to watch, I'd skip this.
