A great movie about the Battle of Midway in the Second World War, right after the Pearl Harbor attack by the Japanese. Thumbs up!

good entertainment, manage expectations and you will enjoy this. suspect acting a bit IMO, but good action and entertainment

The plot is very much true to the history of the events. However, some of the actors chew the scenery and the "special effects" won't fool anyone much over 10 years old. Then there are the dive bombing sequences which are nothing like real life: Dive bombers always dove on their targets single file, not in a gaggle as portrayed in the film. I realize this was done to make it more "exciting" but it falls flat if you know anything about aerial warfare. I have to wonder with all the millions spent on films like this why the studios can't do better.

I was surprised by this movie. It didn't get great reviews from the critics, but it was very entertaining and the Steelbook is very cool.

I like to watch WW2 movies and this one was OK. The Midway movie 70s might be better. Now they use lots of CGI so your not sure if watching filmed movie or video game. Still enjoyable to watch on new TV.

Very good war/action movie was so entertained with this movie. This movie sounds very good with a sound bar and rear speakers.

this is a world war 2 movie and i am a big fan of these type of movies. i used to watch the history channel on cable but this is cheaper.

Overall a excellent action movie. Liked the way they started and followed the main characters. Would definitely recommend.

Great acting by Dennis, not so by Woody! A lot of historical snippets in the film. The extra material is worth buying the movie.

A bit of a surface level view of the events surrounding the actual Battle if Midway, but still entertaining. While the use of CGI can be a bit distracting at times in the film, the overall look of this is great in 4K.

This was well done and decent remake but it fell short in terms of matching the original. I know this was better in terms of special effects but the story fell a bit short. Still enjoyable to watch....

I'm really impressed with the steelbook however the film was longer than it should've been. It can be a bore at times but the film seems so accurate from history. Just think of it like Discovery Channel but with great CGI.

Fantastic remake of the 70's movie. Tells a great story about the history of one of the greatest punch backs of WWII after Pearl Harbor.

Actually a pretty good remake. No one will ever properly replace Charlton Heston, but this is a really decent flick.

Great movie! It's starts before WW2 in Japan and carries through Pearl Harbor, Doolittle's Raid, the Coral Sea and then Midway. MUST SEE!

4k steelbook. Comes with bluray. For a fan that prefers steelbook versions. Otherwise save money and get either 4k or blu ray verision

This is a good action movie that is very exciting. The video is excellent as is the audio. Thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
