    The acting and the selection of period clothing missed the mark by a long shot! Thoroughly disappointed after all the hype! The original made 50 ears ago with Charleton Heston, Henry Fonda and others has much better acting and authenticity.

    a lot of hokey scenes for the action / drama effects but that is what sells. the main " Midway " topic is short when time comes for the actual battle depiction & is a letdown, too much time is spent on pre-build-up scenes. drags movie out.
