Pretty factual account of events in WW2, from our failure to lesten to warnings about Pearl Harbor to the battle of Midway that turned things around. Action scenes are well done.

Just an all around great movie. Great acting I think the directors did a great job with the historical aspect.

I was worried it would be a poor recreation of the 70's original with its ensemble cast. However, it surprised me. Was not a recreation. New story-line, and stands up well on its own.

Fast forward all the Japan subtitles, about 30 minutes worth... It didn't add very much to the overall story.

As for steels- this is so purdty. LOL the movie is ok... average flick but collectors its a must.

Being born in 1938. Midway was the first big battle that I remembered. This movie was great about that battle...

This was an excellent movie. So much better than the original with John Wayne. I would seriously watch it again.

Very good movie with much action and decent dialogue. The blue ray DVD made the experience more enjoyable in high definition. One of the better movies about world war II.
