Good and, for the mostpart historical correct movie

Nice looking Steelbook, movie was excellent as well.

The graphics were great and the story was well told.

This is what the price point should be. Nice steel !

Interesting movie, but like all other WWII movies.

The movie was interesting in that it follows the stories of actual people involved. The disc I received had some issues with freezing and the audio was off when I first started it. I had to restart the disc 4 times while watching.

All the hype and how good the earlier Midway movie was I was waiting for this release. Sound was good on my surround system, picture quality and action were very good. But that main pilot, show off know it all flat smelled and took Midway down. I was disappointed. Getting the digital copy was a new experience. I selected Google to receive it and it came out HD instead if 4k. I wrote Google. In a week it appeared as 4k. I enjoy the earlier Midway movie, I flat would have preferred this as a rental as I doubt I'll watch it again - other than ,yep, I wasted money in this one. Thus movie is why I haven't bought 1917 and the new Jumanji. I would recommend to a friend to rent, but not to buy.

The sets and uniforms and such are great and the acting i wonderful, but the greatest heroism of this battle is overlooked-the courage and sacrifice of three squadrons of torpedo bombers.

The movie moves way to quick with not really any caracter development. Stop paying attention halfway through.

This version is just not as good as the 1976 version that I watched only last year. It has plenty of special effects using today's technology and software, but still manages to appear bland compared to its predecessor.

IT was OK. The acting was sub par. The writing was amateurish at best. Even the special effects had issues in that they were way too obvious...it’s as if they weren’t even trying to make look real.

The story is a little hokey, acting is okay but that's really not why you go see this type of movie. The effects during the battle is and it's great. 4k on a giant screen with the speakers blasting, worth it!

Wanted to see it in the theaters but didn't get to. It was on sale so I gave it a go. Not bad but not great either. Kind of hard to follow.

Actors were a bit hammy and you can see Roland Emmerich’s touch which somehow seems inappropriate for the subject matter. The special effects also were somewhat lacking to my surprise.

I had high hopes for this one when I saw the trailer. The soundtrack especially of the attack on Pearl Harbor is tremendous. The acting, character development and dialogue is pretty mediocre.

I honestly fell asleep the first time. I'm definitely not going to watch the entire thing through again, but great audio/video demo material. Get the popcorn out and put your brain in check.
