Fair. Original dvd better on history and original flims.

Just an ok movie but it had big shoes to fill. Worth a watch.

Enjoyable movie - all star cast good one time movie

Compared to the 1976 movie, this is a tempted version of the Midway story. It is a shallow attempt to retell the story of this critical WW2 Pacific battle. Unfortunately, the screenplay and acting fall way too short. I wouldn't waste my time.

High action, historical movie. Acting is acceptable.

Movie is enjoyable enough, but I think after watching Dunkirk and 1917, this one is not in the same category. Still, I'd give 4* for sheer entertainment value. The 4K UHD itself, however, is disappointing. When playing content in 4K Dolby Vision, the movie froze in 2 different spots roughly about 30-40 minutes in. I am watching this using Panasonic UDP-820 player on an LG 65" C9 OLED TV and connected through a Denon AVR-x3500h receiver. Unfortunately I was told I can't return the movie anymore since it's already opened.

Other than Woody Harrelson and a really haggard Dennis Quad ; there's no one in this film who's made more than a forgettable commercial. The battle scenes are well done but don't make up for a very bad film.

Special effects are so-so, racial slurs sprinkled throughout unapologetically to capture the racism of the era but still a bit cringeworthy. Presentation and plot were ok

I was looking forward to this movie but upon viewing it, I was disappointed. The Henry Fonda/Chatlton Heston is a much better film.

The movie is so-so at best. Some of the scenes were good, but historically accurate?....seemed a bit stretched

I cannot recommend this movie as it had weak storyline and everything else about it was fairly average.

I tried the 4K copy on 2 different consoles and it wouldnt work. Had to use the blu ray wich is still good picture but when your use to 4K you definately notice the difference. Movie woulda looked really good on 4K considering theres so much action in this movie. Technology only getting better but at the samd time complicated. I had this same issue with john wick 3.

Very sadly disappointed that the 4K UHD DVD in this package would not play on my Sony 4K player (brand new DVD - first time played)!! This is the only 4K DVD I've had issues with playing, so I am very certain that it's not the player! Ended up watching the Blu Ray version, which was not the reason for this purchase! Fancy box - worthless contents!

A dis-justice to the soldiers during the battle. Very sloppy and just not good.

First, your site sent me to another location, when I clearly identified the location that I wanted, both locations had the items, and before I arrived I received a status email saying my items have been picked up, I was forced to speak to a manager who got me the items I had paid for. However I still had to go to the other store.
