Great monitor worth the buy could see even if I'm not home

As mentioned by others, the monitor is essentially worthless. It is not reliable. It constantly disconnects. I have a Ring camera that sits directly next to this and it never has any problems. Clearly an inferior product at a premium price. Tech support is incapable of helping.

I have a couple of negative things about this monitor. At the beginning I did love it. The camera is pretty clear and night vision works well. But this does not record straight through. it chooses when it wants to record a video. My baby is 8 months and went from a literal laying down position to standing up grabbing the side of the crib. We happen to wake up with a sound of a bang that she hit her head on the crib and saw her standing up in the middle of the night. I went back to check the video to see if it caught the act of how she stood up but nothing! It records her moving side to side moving her foot but didn’t record her actually standing on the crib. Doesn’t make any sense. Not reliable

My grandson was born premature in August of 2023, and I bought this for the features that it provided, particularly the realtime data showing his respiration rate, room temp, etc. Just a month later, I get a message when opening the app saying that Miku has been bought by another company and the features that came with this monitor will now require a $9.99/mo. subscription fee. This monitor was NOT cheap, and the reason we purchased it was because of the features that came free with the monitor to provide peace of mind. VERY disappointed with this change.

I’d give it negative stars if I could this camera has stresses me out more than anything refuses to connect and when it does disconnects while you’re sleeping so you’ll never hear your baby crying

Stay away from this company. We've been using this since March 2022, they released a flawed firmware update the bricked all of their camera. Then my replacement camera also bricked about a month later. Fast forward to September 15th, 2023 and they announce they were acquired and will now be charging a monthly subscription for the features we've been using for the last 18 months. This is a $400 camera, we expected those functions to be included in the product. To have the rug pulled out all of the sudden is a slap in the face.

Worst company to have ever dealt with. They had the ability to brick your device remotely and they did it to three of my devices because of recalls. I spent more time without a camera for my baby than actually using it and never got to use it. Worst product ever.

Very high quality and simple to use! The only negative in 6 months of owning it is that it sometimes detects no movement when the baby isn't in the crib and sets off an alarm.

The Miku Pro offers all of the same things as other high-end monitors on the market, but without the subscription costs and without needing a single accessory (besides your phone!) This monitor is fantastic. I have been using another very similar monitor, but decided to give this one a try as it does not require a subscription! The Miku Pro arrived in nice, compact packaging. Everything was labeled and easy to find. It included all the tools and hardware needed for mounting, including a measuring device, level, and track to cover the cable. The instructions were easy to understand and follow. Once mounted, the camera is adjustable. I can tilt it in any direction to ensure that the entire crib is visible. You use your phone as a monitor, so you don’t have to carry around a separate device and because it connects via the internet, you can check on your baby from anywhere - you don’t have to be connected to your home internet. Account share allows multiple users to access the monitor, and this can be set to full access or view only. The picture is very clear. Probably my favorite thing about this monitor is the fact that I can monitor my baby’s breathing without any accessories. You can set alarms to alert you if the breathing seems off. You can opt to be notified of no movement, sound, when your baby falls asleep, and when your baby awakens, even when the app is closed. The monitor also offers a sound machine with a timer and volume control, temperature/humidity info, and two-way audio. There is even a standby mode that turns your camera and all notifications off. The monitor will provide you with data on your baby’s sleep efficiency for both daytime and nighttime, including how much sleep your baby is getting and how much they wake up, as well as your baby’s average breaths per minute and the average temperature/humidity of the room. While all of this can be done without a subscription, the company does offer an optional subscription (Care+) for tracking breathing/sleeping trends as well as height/weight, temperature, feedings, and diaper changes, The subscription also offers more activity video storage (30 days or unlimited), but the free version includes 7 days of storage. All-in-all, I would say that this monitor covers all bases and then some!

AWEFUL!!! Brought this camera thinking it be work most the time but it doesn’t . It doesn’t stay connect I have to reset it serval times before it connects the camera doesn’t work half the time it ridiculous you pay so much for something that the product doesn’t even work half the time! It great when it works but not worth it but something else I wish I did !

After much debate over which smart baby monitor I wanted to purchase for my first child, I finally decided to go with the MIKU PRO as recommended by a family member. I think it was great that all the mounting for the camera came with all the hardware needed in the box along with a cable track and wall anchor. App set up was very easy, following the prompts to set up via Wi-Fi. Shockingly good video quality for such a small camera. What I like most about the MIKU Is that there is no subscription required to make use of all the functions and it also allows for saving all sleep data versus only saving for a few days. I also like that I do not have to purchase any additional equipment to help monitor respiratory status. Live breathing tracking is what I am looking most forward to as I am quite anxious about this as a first-time parent. Overall, there is so much functionality to this baby camera, I think it is well worth the price and investment!

Our Miku camera died after less than 30 days of use. We purchased it a couple of months before our baby was born so we're already outside Best Buy's tight return window even though it just sat in a box unopened. Miku is "experiencing high call volume" so you can only email them and hope for a response. Avoid this device.

It works really good! I’m very pleased with the purchase.

It was missing a part when it arrived so I had to return it. There weren’t any others available in store or to order online, so I basically waited 2 weeks for a product I couldn’t use and then had to drive across town to return it. Big waste of time.

Great video quality, great customer service. We really love this baby monitor. The app is easy to use and we love how it collects data regarding sleep, movement and breathing. The set up was super easy! Only giving it 4 stars because sometimes it feels like it stalls connect when opening the app, but this could be more of an issue with our internet speed.

Went bankrupt and now wants to charge us for features that were supposed to be free. Do not buy.

We did a lot of research on baby monitors before purchasing the Miku, and it exceeded all of our expectations. It was by far the camera / baby monitor with the most features. We love that all the sleep tracking is automatic without wearables! The Miku is able to detect when you put your baby down, how long it takes for them to fall asleep, how long they slept for, when a caretaker helps the baby out, and more... All the statistics, details, and insights are extremely helpful in helping us decide if we need to make adjustments to how we put our baby down to sleep. It is also very nice that this monitor does not require a subscription to receive the insights. This gives us peace of mind when we aren't actively watching the baby on a camera or in person. It will detect how many breaths per minute and also alert you if the baby stops breathing. It is very easy to set up (both the hardware and software/app). The app is very intuitive and both my husband and I have it installed and set up to monitor our baby. There are so many bonus features that we love as well. When viewing the app we're also constantly looking at the temperature and humidity that the Miku reports so that we can make adjustments to the room. Great purchase!

I highly recommend the Miku Pro monitor! I was very impressed by the product packaging and instructions for setting up the monitor. The phone app comes with easy to follow videos and all tools required for the installation were included with the product (even a screwdriver!). Once the monitor was set up, the app was easy to learn and we started using it right away with our newborn. The app is great because it allows for accessing on more than one phone and does not require carrying around a separate monitor screen. We were excited about the Miku Pro for the breathing and activity tracking feature, this provides peace of mind and visual feedback that baby is asleep without zooming in or staring at baby's movement. We find the analytics available each day insightful to understand sleep efficiency and compare days. Another great feature is that the monitor saves videos of each time movement is detected which allows you to go back and look at the videos. Lastly, specific wearables or swaddles/sleep sacks are not required to use this monitor which is great and allows us to use those that work well for our little one.
