    My great nephew was telling me about the MineCraft he wanted for his birthday. We stopped by Best Buy and found the exact gift card he was describing. Perfect (and easy) gift for a 12 year old.!!!

    This was the must-have gift for my 7 year old. She already had the XBox version, but only the computer version will allow the use of user created skins, texture packs, and mods. I had a great deal of difficulty using the online payment for the PC version (I imagine it was because the vendor is in Europe and the payment gateway didn't like my card). Drove two minutes to Best Buy and grabbed the card from the aisle display, back out the door and home in five minutes. Took less time to buy it in store than online (if online had even worked). The kid loves this game, and the fantasy world is gore and smut free. The building blocks in this universe are so basic they make lego look cutting edge, but this game world really lets kids bring out their imagination.

    Sandbox type of games are the best type of games since it never ends. You can download mods, play with friends and, go on online servers with mini games such as prop hunt, hunger games and, ect.

    Great game at a cheap price. The download code has directions on the back so its pretty hard to mess up getting a mojang account.
