great way to start minecraft and not use a credit card

A must have for the minecraft fan. At least that's what my son tells me now that he has it on all of his available platforms. I have never played minecraft and do not see the draw but all of my kids love it. If you're a fan you want them all apparently. My 10 year old installed it alone with no problems and said that was easy.

The kids have been playing Minecraft on XBox and wanted to try it out on the PC for access to mods they'd seen on Youtube. The full PC edition gets you the original Java version and the Windows 10 Edition. They can get sucked in for hours building structures and contraptions. Happy to encourage their creativity.

I received the card without it being registered by Best Buy. I called their customer service and they were able to register while I had a short wait. I was frustrated at the time, but now that I have a chance to look back, errors will occasionally happen, but they fixed it quickly. Good job!

The game was easy to install. The game is what I expected, no better or worse.

Love the game which allows you to explore your creative side as well as develop problem solving skills. I could do without the spiritistic references like spell casting, undead creatures, and witches. Overall, we have this on several computers at home so the whole family can play it together. Be sure to check the Minecraft site and run the trial before you buy it as some of my computers could not run the game at all even though they met the minimum requirements.

Not much to say, its MINECRAFT. The kids absolutely love this game. Personally don't see what is so great about it but, its not for me.

PC version is slightly different than xbox and tablet version. We are still working on learning how to use and looking at MODS as well. This version requires a little more knowledge of the game and how to play on a PC and coding seems to be a must. Parent involvement needed to get going.
