This cable works as expected for my Surface 3 Pro.

I had previously purchased an off brand adapter (Mini Displayport to DVI) and it would place green dots all over the screen whenever I woke up my computer. Since switching to Microsoft's Mini-Displayport to HDMI, I don't have that problem anymore.

I've seen a lot of adapters and this one is really well made. You can feel the difference when taking it in your hand for the first time. It's very durable, as so far even though I was taking it with me on my business trips, it has not broke yet.

The industrial design for this device is one of the best out there, but it is a bit expensive. Similar devices sell for less online. It may or may not be worth the money if you just need it to work whether it looks good or has good build quality.

Does exactly what you need it to! Surface is designed to be versatile and the adapter makes it even better. Been using the Surface dock and connecting to a 26" TV when not on the go and it has made it the best possible computing experience.

Works as intended. I bought an adapter prior to this one that lasted only 5 minutes and would not play sound through hdmi speakers. This adapter gives both audio and video. A little more expensive, but worked and is still working.

This product does the job just fine. My only complaints are that it was a little more expensive than similar non-Microsoft adapters, AND, I could not definitively tell if this supported 4K HD at various Hz rates. BestBuy staff were unsure as well. I wish the website or product specs were more clear.

Tried several other generic adapters. Over time each would stop sending a strong enough signal to the monitor to keep the monitor from going to sleep. The Microsoft genuine part certainly works better with the Surface Pro 4.

We needed an interface cable to connect the Surface laptop to the television. We used an aftermarket first without positive results so I purchased a Microsoft cable, plugged it in and the interface was seamless.

Although other adapters out there, none of them state compatibility with Surface Pro. For only a few dollars more, go with this product. Not worth time and effort to return a non-compatible product.

Now that everything is going mini display port these are a must to carry around. I like that it is sleek and works flawlessly with my Microsoft book. I carry it in my computer bag everywhere I go.

This item performed up to expectations. This item meted every expectation. It allows my Surface Pro to project movies and data onto a tv screen, which is exactly what it was purchased to do.

I love my surface pro, but because it's so portable, the screen size is small. I love that I can simply use this adaptor to connect it to my 22" monitor at the office or at home.

I was using DVI connections previously, and once I connected my surface to my secondary screen with the HDMI connection, it made a huge difference. Better clarity on the display.

If you use your surface as I do, this is a must have. I never know the connections I'm going to need when setting up , so I have all the converters for the surface.

After purchasing many cheap imitations on Amazon I finally decided to purchase the genuine microsoft product and it works great, Price was also better than i thought it would be
