I recently gave up my laptop at work, and started using my personal Surface Pro 3 with a VDI. That was great until I started having to go to meetings and present on the mounted screens. I grabbed both this adapter and the HDMI adapter, and carry them in my laptop bag. Very handy.

Definitely worth getting wether as a back-up or a replacement. Good price.

This product does what its supposed to do and I had no issues with it.

The adapter works perfectly but the video port connector is squared-off and doesn't fit well into the surface tablet. It should be great on most tablets but since the surface's port is on a sloping surface the connector doesn't fit fully into the port. Since this adapter is advertised for the surface you would think it would have the correct angle on the connector.

Used to connect our MS Surface Pro 3/4 to a monitor. Works fine.

If you ever want to hook up to an old projector you have to get this adapter. I’ve used it many times at our school for assemblies and services for over 1000 people. It’s very handy to have if you don’t want to lug around your laptop.

This worked as expected in terms of allowing me to show a powerpoint through a projector. I didn't give it 5 stars because I don't know if it will transfer the sound as well as the picture. The HDMI adapter like this that I bought doesn't transfer the sound...only the picture.

I have used this item not for my personal growth but for Family entertainment and even for my presentations. For the last few months I have had the privilege to use this item for presentations. I have been able to assist others with it.

If you are like me you are often mobile you know that wireless connections are not universally available, and that means plugging into to screens and monitors using 15 pins adapters. This one does the job.

I have 2 already for my SurfaceBook dock but needed a travel adapter. If you have a Surface you need this adapter over some cheap version out there. Bought a number of other versions before buying this one.

Works well with the Surfacebook. What is key is it is an active HDMI adapter from what I understand. This device solved the issue I was having, getting the docking brick display to a monitor with an HDMI cable.

This is a must get for Surface Pro owners. It gives you an extra way to charge device and turns your Surface into a desktop. I have a keyboard, mouse and two monitors plugged into this dock.

Previously had a cheap version of this adapter and had issues with the external monitor. So I bought the Microsoft branded adapter to go with my Surface. Haven't had an issue since.

Sales clerk guided me straight to the product and he was certain it was the correct product for my needs. When I tried it out in my classroom the adapter was perfect! Thank you!
