It's a fun movie, and we did ultimately add it to our collection, but it is definitely a little lighter in terms of...well, everything...than its predecessors. It's wacky and filled with all sorts of slapstick comedy moments and the minions' amusing antics, but there isn't as much in terms of plot development or character investment. I know it's a kid movie, so I wasn't expecting a two hour mind-bender or anything, but it feels a touch too simple even for that - my kids like to watch it, but it's a "Watch it in the background while doing something else" kind of watching as opposed to sitting down specifically for the movie. Again, it's fun - but it doesn't quite capture what makes Despicable Me so great.

I always though the best parts of the Despicable Me movies were the Minions. As soon as I heard that there was going to be a Minions movie, I knew that I HAD to BUY it! I've watched it several times with family and friends and laughed each time!

This was one of my daughter's Christmas gifts. She love this movie so much, she has already watched it Atleast 4 times. Definitely getting my moneys worth out of it so I am very satisfied.

This move is hilarious. I don't even have kids and love this. Watch this and you will turn yellow too!!! Better than sliced bread. Tastes worse than sliced bread. Add hot sauce to your liking and you shall too pass gas

Purchased this movie as a Christmas present. While in line a Best Buy employee let me know that it came with a free gift and actually went over a grabbed my gift for me. LOVE Best Buy employees, always helpful! :-D The movie was fantastic too.

Gosh, this film looks fantastic. I have another film from this series on 4k and the colors are 99%as vibrant in this format for a fraction of the price. Highly recommend this film for minion lovers. Team Bob!!

My wife has an affinity for Disney films, so I bought this for her for Christmas. I sat down with her to watch it in 3D, and it was a fun movie and well done in 3D. Definitely would recommend it if you want some mindless family entertainment.

This movie is just about the minions and is fun for all ages. Again they produce a story of how the minions came about in search of a Villainous master to serve. Any age person will enjoy this film and of course the little ones will love it.

The kids always want to watch specific movies and Minions type of movies are about 25% of what they normally watch. This movie is kid and adult friendly and the whole family enjoys it a lot. Plenty of action and keeps your interest.

Perfect family movie to watch!!!! My 21/2 year old newphew loves this movie!!!! The Minions are cute arodable fun loving characters!!!!!!!! I also love Sandra Bullocks character in this movie!!!!! I highly recommed the Minions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just what I expected; silliness and slapstick humor. I liked the family that picked the guys up on the way to the convention. Not a good model for a parenting skills.Enjoyed Kevin as a ruler for a short time. Can't wait for Despicable 3!!!

It's a whole movie of minions, speaking minion. You will know if you're going to like that going in. My 2 year old enjoys it, and I enjoy watching it with him. The story is clever enough and there are some good jokes. This movie surpassed my expectations and excels at being a cute movie for kids that adults can watch too.

Great backstory to these lovable characters that provides the setting for the Despicable Me franchise. Great show of perserverance and loyalty to their master but to each other despite the brotherly and friendly banter between the minions.

As a big fan of the "Despicable Me" movies I had to get this special bundle that was offered online. The "Minions" movie itself is worth this great deal but the collectibles make it an incredible deal. Get yours while you can!

An entertaining movie. Not too long, not too short.

This movie is about how the minions came to be, evolve and their search for the perfect master through time. You don't have to be a despicable me fan to enjoy this movie. There was some room for improvement (more like 3 1/2 stars), but overall a good movie. Poochie.... (You'll get it once you watch the movie.

I gave this to my 3 year old for Christmas and she started jumping up and down. She loves all of the Minion movies. The movie it self isn't super great, but she loves to watch the minis and just gets a big kick of of minions in general.

My son now has all the Minions movies and he laughs with such great emotion due to this movie that he makes both his parents laugh as well. These movies have been a good thing for him to come out of his shell. Totally worth the money.

This movie is really funny and great for the whole family, and the new mini movies are just as great.It's also really beneficial that this one purchase is multi-format, allowing us to pay it anywhere, especially with the digital copy.

I so loved the minion movie. I'm so grateful that Best Buy price match because I was able to purchase and earn points. It was a great way to spend time with the family. The movie was very entertaining and kept my 8 year old attention.
