Minions is fun for everyone and a thousand times over in 3D (too bad 3D is being phased out in the US as a novelty.. that's a poor excuse for poor marketing and education on the tech.) The only film of the many I own I liked more was Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 in 3D. The 3D animator or cameramen etc make all the difference, this was well done. Funny.

I was initially let down by Minions when I saw it at the theater, as it confirmed my suspicion that making these lovable supporting characters the central figures of a feature length film was a questionable idea. But the film is more likeable on subsequent viewings, especially if you break it up across 2 or 3 sittings. The mini-movies are as entertaining as those included on the Despicable Me Blurays. The behind the scenes content is interesting, and the menus themselves are fun to view and navigate.

Best Buy has this playing in the store every time we go in and we finally decided to buy it. So worth it if you enjoy Despicable Me and were already a fan, but even if you didn't see DM, if you like the animated comedy genre, this is a great one too add to the collection. Great animation and The story is funny. I thought the Minion speak might get a little old, but it wasn't over done.

Okay, so this movie is 75% gibberish and it made $150 million over its premiere weekend (go figure!) It's one of the zaniest movies, but it's really enjoyable - almost as good as the Despicable Me movies (which I love!). If you're a Despicable Me fan, you'll enjoy this film. The voices of Sandra Bullock and Jon Hamm are nice additions too. Highly recommended.

I got this version of the movie specifically for the 3D aspect of it. I wanted to try out the new 3D update on PSVR. the movie over all is great, hilarious and kids love it. the product comes with so many versions of the film. that is one plus not only do you get the bluray and 3d bluray but also the dvd version and digital version to watch anywhere you want.

A lot of people have said that they thought this movie was bad but I think they may say that because they were expecting a movie that was EXACTLY like the original Despicable Me. You need to realize that this is it's own movie. It isn't Despicable Me, it's Minions. If you understand that they're different then you'll love this movie.

A funny movie showing the origins of the minions. I would say it's one of the better movies in the Gru series. Started a little slow but then move real fast and got good. On the whole I would recommend this movie to anybody with kids or who Is a kid at heart, it is worth it. it is fun and is a nice movie , but you still can't understand the loveable little buggers.

This deal was unheard-of. First of all i was needing the Minions movie for my collection, secondly it was only $4.99, and to top it all off it came with a free pair of Minions mittens. Unbelievable deal!! Just goes to show that you have to constantly be checking back with the deals they have because you never know what you may miss out on.

You know I always thought the minions stole the show during the last two Despicable Me films so I was thrilled to see them get their own movie! Movie theater prices are so high right now I jus waited for it on blu-Ray to buy it, and that way I get the disc, digital copy and even a free minion lunch bag. Story wise it's cute and entertaining but the new Villian, Scarlet Overkill just wasn't likeable and cool like Gru. But overall a great origin story for the minions!

I mean, as an adult, the movie ain't bad. But let's be honest, it's true purpose is to keep my kid entertained and it does a great job. He loves those little minions. Although, word of caution to sensitive parents, there is some mild violence. Cartoon violence of course, but there is some slightly objectionable material for some.

The prequel "Minions" is a great adventure movie! Kids and adults will enjoy this film together! It's the perfect family movie for movie night. Seeing where the Minions come from and how they live is interesting and fun! Kevin, Bob and Stuart set out on a mission to find the most evil villain to work for in this hilarious and fun time of a movie!

Obviously, it's not the most intellectually captivating movie, but it's fun to watch. If it was just minion gibberish the whole movie I would not recommend it. There are other enjoyable characters that speak coherently like in the despicable movies. Overall, the movie looks great, has a fun storyline, my son likes it, my wife and I enjoy it, and it has good music. We like all the classic rock and I like the score as well (e.g. The music on the menu screen).

I bought this movie as a Christmas stocking stuffer for my 5 year old daughter. She loves everything to do with the Minions. This movie is very funny and a good laugh for people of all ages. As an added bonus we also received a Minions lunch bag which my daughter now takes to school with her snack. I recommend this movie as a definite purchase.

Wasn't getting my hopes up for this movie seeing how it's the third one and usually when a 3rd movie comes out there not as good as the first. This one on the other hand even though it did not make me or the kids laugh as much as the first one it is still in my opinion right up there with the first and is worth adding to the collection

Minions is one of those oddly unique little films, a bit like Disney's "Wall-E" which manages to pull off great emotion and communication without using any words. Or at least not "real" words. Sounded a little like French and Italian mixed. But even little kids will follow the meaning. Love having it in the 2 formats of BluRay and DVD. Good features. Top quality. Not really a digital user, but there's that too if you're a fan of portability.

My kids and my mother were visiting for Easter and we decided to relax and watch a movie. As none of us had yet seen this, and we all loved Despicable Me (1&2), Minions was our choice. We laughed so hard at some points we were in danger of losing our meals. This is a must see, and it's great how it ties into the previous movies.

I'm a 34 year old man that has been a minion fan since Despicable Me, ya know, before they were on lunch boxes, hats, and toilet paper (I'm assuming, don't know for sure). Their first feature film went pretty well. I laughed more than a grown man should and was entertained throughout. Looking forward to more minions.

My kids love Minions so of course I had to buy it for Christmas. It shows the Minions through history and how they ventured from one "boss" to another. I would've liked it more if they would've spent more time on the different bosses. They kind of gloss over the early bosses and stay on the London scene for the rest of the movie. It was funny but not as hilarious as the first two installments. Still a good video to watch with the kids.

The minions first made their way into our homes in the first Despicable Me movie. The comedic relief these guys provide is unparalleled in kid friendly movies. It was only natural to make a movie based on these little guys. Although I would have liked to see more comedy in the movie, I think it was very good just the way it was. My family enjoyed this movie thoroughly. No matter if you have kids or not, this is a great buy.

I bought this for myself as my kids are grown and I had enjoyed the preceding movies. However, while a very well thought out movie, it was very slow at times for an adult. I do feel though that it would be an excellent movie for children, its intended audience. I gave it four stars because I feel that children's movies can be just as enjoyable for adults as well as kids (i.e. Toy Story) yet this movie wasn't quite there.
