By itself, mildly amusing at best. If you've seen the two Despicable Me films, you will find this less than adequate. It doesn't have the wit and sly humor needed. Not something I will watch a second time.

While the entire family enjoyed this movie, especially my 5 and 9 year old girls, it did not have the originality of Despicable Me. Still, it had a few laugh out loud moments and worth it while on sale.

It's not bad, and the kiddies will enjoy it. For me, it was a bit too derivative (cash-in syndrome) so I wasn't overwhelmed. I got it at a good price and for the 3D so overall it was a decent buy.

We loved the 1st Despicable Me, the 2nd was ok, this one is by far the worst of the three. It got some pity chuckles out of us... Watching it once was enough for our family. I'm sad we bought it.

The Minions is a quite hilarious movie. If you are familiar with the "Despicable Me" movies, you already know the hijinks created by the Minions. They are up to their same antics in this movie.

movie was just okay. despicable me was so much better. the packaging was also not the best so the case busted and little plastic pieces were everywhere.

It's the worst of all of the Despicable movies. My kids lost interest about half way through. It is a kids movie though. Probably for the younger group of kids.

The movie didn't live up to the hype. My kids and I liked Despicable Me movies, but we weren't as interested with this movie. The story itself didn't capture us from the beginning.

The origin story of the minions. While it was a decent movie, I was expecting a bit more out of it. It does have its moments and is kind of neat to learn about them a little.

I love Despicable Me and i love Minions. But the problem with this is that in Despicable Me they weren't the main stars of the film. This film ended up being only above average.

This was ok, but not as good as the other movies. The Minions don't do well when there are not other talking characters. It was ok, but not as good as what I was hoping for.

I didn't laugh as much as I did in despicable me but I enjoyed the film. I expected to like this more but without the other characters, it's pretty light.

This felt like it was rushed and just not as funny as Despicable Me 1 or 2. Worth the watch but not much more. The minions just are not meant to have their own movie.

I brought this for the family. As a family you can watch this and get enjoyment out of this. I rated this lower since it is not as entertaining as "Decpicable Me".

Though not as endearing as the first two movies, but it was about MINIONS! the history of Minions and how they came to be. And we love Minions.....more Minions.

I like Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2 better. They are much more whole-family friendly. But if your kids can't get enough minions, get this movie for them.

Missed this movie in theaters. Honestly, 65% of this movie is everything you've seen in the trailer. Barely anything new. The blu-ray does have 3 short films.

I thought the minions in all the Despicable Me movies were funny, but a whole full length movie of just minions, is a bit much. It got very boring in parts.

I bought this online but it still was a very low price.I like deals .Best Buy always have them .

It isn't going to win any awards, but if you like the Minions, it's a cute movie. It gives a great history of the Minions and their relationship with Gru.
