I thought this movie was going to be hilarious. I was wrong. A few funny parts but overall waste of money. I feel I should of rented it on redbox instead.

I expected a lot more from the franchise. Despicable Me had 2 awesome movies. This one just seemed like it was only about sucking more money out of fans.

There was SO MUCH potential here, it is very disappointing what the movie ended up being. With the evil of the whole of human history to work with, this could have been much MUCH better. As with all animated movies of the current time, the animation is great. The story not so much. Most of the story is set in the 1960s and some of the gags based on the time period are pretty good. After the 2 Despicable Me films it was quite a letdown, however.

Not bad movie but I expected more I guess. The kids loved it, but it was disappointing after seeing the Despicable Me films. Still, it had its moments.

good movie overall I can't see a child who won't enjoy this movie. very watchable for adults due to the solid voice Talent. Great movie on 3D

As many offshoot movies based off of supporting characters, it's an ok movie, but not as good as the Despicable Me series it's taken from.

This movie could have been better. It just didnt have the laugh factor that you would have thought. Ok movie. Best part was Dolby Atmos audio track.

I didn't love this one, but the kids like it okay. Couldn't beat the price, and at the time got free mittens, definitely worth the purchase.

my kids didn't really pay attention to the movie long as it was very hard to follow when you couldn't understand anything the minions were saying.

My 5 year old loves The Minions in anything so of course he loves these mini movies as well. Got a great price on this right around the holidays.

I thought this movie would be great bc I love the despicable me series. It was good but felt like it was aimed more towards adults but fell short

My kids love this movie, and unlike some family movies, this one is actually pretty funny for adults too!

A prequel to the Despicable Me series, finding the origins of the Minions and where they came from. Not as good as I hoped, but a descent movie.

This movie isn't up to par with the Dispicable Me movies, but it is entertaining for Minion fans. It does make a good prequel for Dispicable Me.

I like having all 3 format for the movie. However, the content is no so awesome. The movie was nothing compared to the first or second movie.

It was okay.. Not as good as the first two. But I got it on sale so it's okay and you always have to complete the collection no matter what

Was hoping this would be as good as Despicable Me but it fell a bit flat for me with the Minions being the main focus. Still a decent movie.

my 2 kids love both despicable me movies and i thought they would like this one also. watched it once and nobody cares to watch it again.

Its a good movie, but I didn't think it lived up to the first one. The minions were designed as supporting staff and should stay as such.

A slightly amusing money grab prequel to Despicable Me, probably best for little kids and those who can't really follow plot or dialogue.
