Wonderful phone service. I was skeptical coming from AT&T. I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift, and really loved the service. I loved it so much that I dropped AT&T and got Mint Mobile for my whole family.

Easy to setup. Phone number ported in a few minutes from T-Mobile. Good deal on the 3 month plan. Promotion took a few days to be effective.

Good product and easy set up - unfortunately the service is not great in the area that I need to use this even though the map said it was good coverage. Overall, it was worth trying out.

Been using Mint mobile over a few years now; value offering for people who have good T-mo coverage and don't need "unlimited priority data". Supports wifi-calling too.

I bought this from Best Buy rather than Mint Mobile for two reasons -- It's a fantastic deal and my wife and I just moved and we'd run out of data on our old phone plan and we wanted to switch to Mint Mobile, but didn't want to wait for them to ship the SIM cards - just one huge problem -- it doesn't work with my phone, even though it is GSM. Apparently my phone (a Samsung Galaxy C7 I picked up in Thailand) is too old (though it works with other GSM carriers in the US -- Good2Go is fine). I know I should upgrade to a newer phone, but this is frustrating. I tried calling Mint to see if they had a workaround. They tried, but nope. Then I asked if they could apply the funds to my wife's account (I bought two of these - hers works fine). They said no. My only option is to attempt to return it to Best Buy and get a refund. I'm guessing Best Buy won't accept a return on a SIM card that's already activated, though. Be sure to check the Mint Mobile website tool to verify phone compatibility before you buy. As long as you're verified, you should be good to go.

Very happy with Mint Mobile, and agent who sold it got me a good deal that matches the online price. Their coverage is said to be spotty outside major citries, but I have not experienced that.

Unbeatable price, however signal in my area much weaker than AT&T was. Mint uses T-Mobile.
