If you have an unlocked phone, this is an unbeatable value! Also, for those of you who are wondering, T-Mobile has improved on their coverage and performance tenfold in the past few years compared to the likes of AT&T and Verizon. Compared to other networks, Mint mobile has pretty decent customer service as well! Give this SIM card/plan a try. It's well worth it!

You only need to be in an area with T-Mobile service (most of the US) and using a phone supported by T-Mobile (unlocked GSM). Still, if you can wait until the promo is being offered (usually once every year), you should. Please NOTE (because many might not have noticed): the Mint "deal" prices are based on prepaying 12 months at a time; otherwise the effective monthly price is higher (as in, not the best deal). So keep it in mind if you want to renew after the first 3 (or 6) months end.

The reception is wonderful, so far no dead areas or dropping of calls. Great for anyone who uses phone for emergencies or general use. Switching from Verizon was very easy and you can't beat the price. Will be buying a yearly plan when the 3 months run out.

Big wireless should be worried

Had it a month and service seems to have no issues. Bought 3 months, got 3 free. All in all, $360 for 18 months of unlimited service(35GB/mo). That’s a huge savings for me.

Looks like I'll be signing up for this plan when this one expires in 2 months

I don't know any other place where you can get 8GB a month for an average price of $10. I get good reception where I live.

You get the full t mobile/sprint network with out the crazy high bill and you can pay for a year upfront which is $300 best mobile deal around

I have had a few issues with signal strength in my house BUT tmobiles Wifi Calling makes that all better... when it works and that is 99% of the time. I switched for 3 months and I enjoyed the savings and the service has been good, not perfect but good, so I decided to renew for 12 months and save some more money over the provider I had previously and that was ATT. Now, I think mint could do a little better on the phone customer service department BUT their twitter support is really good imo.
