I'm so glad I did the backup before doing anything else. The Mint mobile install and updating was a piece of cake, but all my photos, contact list and etc were gone but not forgotten. I just opened my backup and sent the missing files right back to my phone. I'm no techie, wizard or magician, anyone could do it if my being 67 years old with bipolar disorder could do it. Now I get my phone incredibly cheaper than the big Att. I'm happy. Get off the fence, do it too, you'll be so happy you'll have a smile on your face you can't undo. Signed JerseyDevil

Number porting was quick and text/calls work the same as my last phone provider.

I travel extensively in and out of the US, so I just needed a US number but I wanted the option to pay for limited data. This gave many options and had clear directions. There is also an international roaming option which I’m excited to try out.
