He has been using it for about a week now and so far so good, no issues at all. Setup took longer than expected but if this all works out in the long run, you can’t beat the price of the service.

Went to Best buy, found tons of cards that I could take home with me. Picked up the mint to use for a few days until my other one arrived. Ended up switching to mint as my primary and only carrier. Only caveat would be be careful when activating you get to Sims and it's very easy to confuse activation
