Only downside is a phone number is allocated to you by your zip, you can change by calling mint however you cannot pick from a list, it randomly allocates a number, however actual phone service and internet usage is great!!

Can't believe how easy was to switch carriers!!!!

Decreased cell phone bill for unlimited talk, text, data and 5gb hotspot from $66 a month to $30 a month and used my same phone. Super easy. Set up account, completed activation process and switched sim. Done!!!! Makes me think I should have done it sooner. Look at Rakuten for kickbacks either through Mint Mobile or Best Buy.

Happy with switch

A couple years ago, my friend convinced me to switch from AT&T to T-Mobile, and I was really happy with the switch. For $50 prepaid, AT&T has limited data, but T-Mobile is unlimited for the same price. Then a couple months ago, I switched to Mint because it's on the same network, but cheaper. Now I only pay $30 a month. I don't use that much data anymore though, so I'll be lowering my costs even further by buying a lower data plan.
