The setup is straightforward for anyone with an ounce of tech knowledge. To switch to mint mobile you can use the app or website. Ran into issues with the mint mobile directions being incorrect in regards to how to switch but found the solution after contacting customer service. The performance of the service is great with no issues so far.

Premium service but cheaper

No need to spend a fortune. No problem to transfer his number. It takes less than 5 minute. I used Metropcs before. Same network but much cheaper. Data speed is very reasonable. Totally love it.

A Great Way to Start a New Service!

Buying the physical card kit at Best Buy turned out to be the direct way to start new inexpensive service. I am so glad that Best Buy had a card available.

It uses the T-Mobile towers dor service anyway. Theoretically, I'm a lower priority on those towers, but I haven't seen any more issues than when I was on T-Mobile. Highly recommend.

Cons: below par customer service, phones may not work correctly on mints service (calling and texting fine but wireless internet doesn't work). So make sure your phone is 100% compatible before making the switch.
