Best Buy emails a 10 digit PIN for eSIM activation if you purchase a Mint eSIM plan from Best Buy. The Mint app asks for an 11 digit ACT code to activate. I spent so much time online looking for how to get the 11 digit ACT code if all I have is the 10 digit PIN from Best Buy. Out of desperation, I pasted the 10 digit PIN into the Mint app’s text box asking for the 11 digit ACT code. And it worked! I was able to activate service. (After almost half an hour of frustration). I’m sharing this so others searching for the answer can figure out how to get unstuck. Fix your terrible instructions Best Buy / Mint!

Mediocre at Best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I signed up directly because there waa a 3 week wait to get from Best Buy, i regret signing up. The talk portion works, but the data part is a big problem. here is the reason. Since this is a discounted service of T-Mobile, the Mint service is provisioned as a second tier customer, meaning tmobile customers get preference to the network, you will get second dibs. now this is why its a problem, downloads and connections are inconsistent at best, if you do streaming music/video, it will cut out at best and time out reguarly, if you look up an address on a map app, it will most likely time out a couple of times before it works. General browsing will time out or take long. In this case, you did get what you pay for. If you must must must sign up for Mint, sign up for the lowest data plan, since you wont be able to use data properly, i figure you will need alot less of it. my 2 cents.
