I was very happy with the purchase it was easy to install and setup. The reason it is not a 5 is the sims could possibly be designed to pop out differently. Maybe not. But if you don't need the nano size be careful when punching them out.

Please make sure you get a trial sim and try it out before jumping in fully. That way u will know how's the service at your location like office and home. Its over all very good for the price.

No issues with the signal so far. As it's using the T-Mobile service the coverage is not that bad but could have been better in some areas. But definitely worth for the price to try as it comes with some minutes, data and messages.

Hesitant at first. I bought a stereo for my Tacoma that was compatible with a SIM card for stand alone usage as a streaming device. After MINT for a year… spectacular. Meets all my streaming needs, thought it does get spotty depending on where you go but overall, very reliable service for something you want to operate as a standalone device aside from your main celular device or if you’re seeking a secondary one.

I needed to move a line from a post paid account. I reviewed pre-paid mobile carriers and Mint seemed to be the best option. It was super easy to get the SIM activated with them. There are two SIM cards in the package. One serves as a dummy SIM while the other one is used after you establish your account and make payment. Mint Mobile uses TMobile's network so I never had any connectivity issues with voice it data.

I got this $5 card to try it out on my son's phone and it works fine. One catch is that if you want to keep the phone number you get when you do the trial, you have to pay for additional time BEFORE it runs out, not WHEN or after it runs out. I had to get a new phone number again. Otherwise, the service is fine, tech support is good and it's a lit cheaper than the major carriers even though it runs on T-Mobile's network.

It's third Mint in our family, as kids grows and need their own connection with parents. I love Mint, after using expensive plans with Version and horrible customer support, after FAmilyMobile with cheaper plans, but still very expensive, I finally found something what fit all my family. It won't work on some mountains in our area, but not big deal. Its good everywhere else!

So easy to set up. I was helping an elderly friend get a smartphone set up and I bought this for their service. He is saying MINT has great service all over the city, and really reasonably priced...easily the lowest price.

Best price and coverage plan that I could find for my college age kids. Was easy to install and then upgrade later no problems. Great service so far. Would recommend.

Quick easy and cheap. Getting a phone activated is like buying a car anymore and then they always try and up sell you. Get this sim card, put it in your unlocked phone, follow the instructions and skip going to the phone store.
