Finally got around to activating it, and there was no SIM card etc. in the taped-up envelope. (The orange tape is somewhat reusable... one can open and close the envelope making it look like new.) I can only imagine that somewhere along the line someone opened it and stole the contents; if the movie code was also in the envelope that would've provided an added incentive. Of course it's now past the brief 14-day return window so I'm out of the $45, and apprehensive that someone out there might have activated a sim that's registered as having been shipped to my postal address.

You get what you pay for do research your location and coverage maps.

The activation process was the quickest I've done in a long time. The kit is ready to use and so far my usage has been enough to help me decide that I don't have to regret the move.

The 4GB of data ran out fairly quick, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing when it comes to kids. My only negative is after the three months the price goes up another $10 per month unless you purchase a whole year upfront to lock in the current rate.
