Purchased for a portable hot spot and it has worked out great for me. Might need some guidance from customer service, but that also went smoothly.

I am happy with the service I am getting from Mint. I have had a few issues with signal strength in my house BUT tmobiles Wifi Calling makes that all better... when it works and that is 99% of the time. I switched for 3 months and I enjoyed the savings and the service has been good, not perfect but good, so I decided to renew for 12 months and save some more money over the provider I had previously and that was ATT. Now, I think mint could do a little better on the phone customer service department BUT their twitter support is really good imo.

Note: i bought this during a promotion where I received an extra 3 months. This promotion may not still apply when the review is posted. That being said, I needed a temporary phone line, I already have Mint mobile on another phone, and I know the value of this service if using a T-mobile compatible phone and in a good service area. Value is the same or better if you pay 12 months in advance; if you need a permanent line, or you can buy this 3 month card and SIM if you only need something temporary like I did. activation took less then 5 minutes in the parking lot using the browser on my phone. Service just works.

Great service. Activation was very user-friendly, took approximately ten minutes. Works on some unlocked GSM phones. Service is on the T-Mobile's network. Mint keeps you updated on how much data has been used.

Great coverage at insanely low prices. Using it with an iPhone for a few months now and no complaints. Signal everywhere and great call quality and data speeds.

Good network connection and data package. The network was even connecting when traveling to US National Parks.

I was really nervous about switching from a name brand carrier over to mint, but they just kept jacking up the price and I was paying over $75/mo for Tmobile, which just didn't feel right. Bought this mint mobile card with the transfer information and was up and running in less than an hour. Its super easy and their customer service was an actual human who helped immediately. I've had no issues and the price is unbeatable.

Mint already offers a great value with their prepaid packs --uses the T-mobile network, with same service at alower price. I had the chance to get a 3 month caud at half price. Awesome!

I got this for my mom when she was visiting from overseas. I think this is the cheapest chip that's in the market. It also works very well in the area I live.

Easy to activate, service worked great! After the fiasco I endured trying to activate on Boost, I think I will be switching back to Mint
