The SIM card works good with promotion but cannot purchase a head of time and save it for later use. Only valid for 45 day after purchase.

I recently purchased it ,The internet speed is good but most of the time call drop due to bad network,although its cheap but not the best.

I found Mint didn't have a good coverage in my area but I couldn't return this. The return process is a mess.

It does the job. But calling someone takes a long time for a ring. Cell service is good in my area so internet is decent.

I've been calling tech support daily re: number port in. Previous carrier says number released. Each time Mint tech support gives same answer "no record of escalation we will escalate and call you back in 24-48 hours". Recommend return if your number does not port within 24 hours. Reading online, this is not an isolated experience.

It is okay when you have reception, but the coverage in my location is very limited.

Mint Mobile runs on the T-Mobile network and the service where I live is super spotty to the point where when I'm indoors I'll have one bar (or sometimes no service), but when I step outside, I'll have 3 or 4. I find this to be an issue all over my area. I'm only in the US for a couple of months each year, so I'll keep my service for this year because it's too much of a hassle to find something else, but I won't use Mint again. Be sure to check T-Mobile's coverage for your area before buying this kit!

Affordable plan for the ones who are using traditional carriers

I purchased a 3 month promotional plan. It took almost 2 days to get connected to the network. Due to a family emergency, I did not spend much time on my phone for about a week. Then, I realized I only get good service when I am connected to wifi. I generally only get 3 bars outside, and if I'm not connected to wifi, texts often won't send, calls will drop, and instead of calls coming in, people are sent straight to voicemail, which I don't always receive unless i restart my phone several times a day. Yes, my phone is listed as compatible with their network, and i had none of these problems with my previous carrier. They claim to have excellent service in Topeka, KS, but i don't know anyone that would call 3 bars, excellent. Customer service is a joke. They tell you to do the same things over and over, with no resolution, and they refuse to give refunds outside of the initial 7 days post-purchase. Do not waste your time or money. They company couldn't care less that they do not provide a quality product. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of their money is made off people like me that they refuse to refund.

Mint Mobile - Best phone pricing in the country...period

I bought this product to resell on Amazon. Unfortunately it was not the best purchase, it does bot have the complete information for the questions that customer ask. I had my product return it to me and, I have no more chance to send back to Best Buy doing the fact the time has been already inspired. So, I lost I chance to sell the product and still lost my money and my time. ): Sorry.

After many attempts the mint SIM card did not work with my TracFone. And, it was too late to return the card when I finally attempted activation with my TracFone. Expensive lesson.
