10 digit PIN works in 11 digit ACT box in Mint app

Best Buy emails a 10 digit PIN for eSIM activation if you purchase a Mint eSIM plan from Best Buy. The Mint app asks for an 11 digit ACT code to activate. I spent so much time online looking for how to get the 11 digit ACT code if all I have is the 10 digit PIN from Best Buy. Out of desperation, I pasted the 10 digit PIN into the Mint app’s text box asking for the 11 digit ACT code. And it worked! I was able to activate service. (After almost half an hour of frustration). I’m sharing this so others searching for the answer can figure out how to get unstuck. Fix your terrible instructions Best Buy / Mint!
