    DONOT BUY MINT! RUN AWAY

    Bought a 3 month subscription from mint mobile on 06/30/2021, paid $99.83 upfront for the service(eSim). I received instructions to put in a activation request through their Mint Mobile app, did that and received a message saying it will take them 24-48 hours to activate the service. Fast forward 15 days and the app still displays the same message. I call up Mint and they say the request is being processed. Late July entering August I call Mint again to process a refund since I was being charged by my current carrier even though Mint had charged me for a 3 month service upfront in June. Its 09/21/2021 and till date Mint keeps opening a refund request ticket and then sends an email saying I used the service and hence no refund. When asked for service usage proof, they open a new ticket and deny refund and the whole cycle starts again. Horrible customer service and to think I wanted to start using Mint.

    Slowest ever internet, speed might be slower than

    They give lot of data for cheap but this internet speed is just super slow and disconnects in between i can not play games due to slow and interval disconnections on my iPhone 11. I bet you can never use more than few hundred mbs in a month. My earlier connection was awesome (that little expensive only than mint). My area of connection is Medford,MA don’t know if it same everywhere.

    After reading the reviews on the t-mobile website I thought its a great deal. WHY NOT? I switched from Cricket and a few hours later I am back to my old provider! The service is horrible regardless of the WiFi calling feature enabled or not. I didn't have a single glitch with CRICKET. When I was purchasing the service I checked the area coverage and my phone if they are good with MINT. No problem. The problems started when I started to use the new service. Dropped calls, poor voice quality, poor sound, and did I say lots of dropped calls??!! I wasted half a day with the customer service trying to try settings to make this service better. Didn't work. BACK TO CRICKET.

    I couldn't get this card to work I spent 4 days troubleshooting,2 times waited 24 hours for tech or refund to contact me back.Im disabled so I got this brought out to my car.Mint said I'd get an email for a refund.No refund.Mint made me go to inside and wait online to be told Best buy doesn't refund Mint cards I called Mint again.Being in another country,and being a call center,they have no way to email or refund.Discusted that over a month I still can't resolve this.Im going to have to report it to my bank report as fraud then wait for a card in the mail.Christmas time without a debit card.In addition I'll have to the do any auto payments and information where my card info is important

    Poor Customer Service

    The service seems to work well but not for a Pixel phone. I was never given my Refer A Friend Credit and after a month and 8 chats/phone calls I gave up. This company will sound nice but never do anything to actually solve customer service issues. DO NOT REFER A FRIEND!

    Buyer beware. Sim Cards expire in 45 days if not activated. This is not clearly stated anywhere. Mint Mobile customer line is one of the worse I have ever experienced, worse than I could have ever imagined. They hang up on you, tell you "sorry I can't help you". The casual "cool" tone of the prerecordings doesn't match the horrifying rude experiences that are ahead.

    AVOID IT IF YOU CAN

    Mint mobile has one fatal flaw that not everyone seems to experience. Me and the rest of my family all had issues with missing calls and texts because of some unknown reason. Calls would go straight to voicemail for those calling you and you would never know they tried to call in the first place. Texts would just never go through, both incoming and outgoing. I was in an area with supposedly "great coverage", had a compatible phone, and had several replacement sim cards sent to me. Customer service was very nice and helpful, but they couldn't fix the issue. I loved the good price and simplicity of the service, but I sacrificed reliability for price.

    I went all-in and bought a 6 month card. It sounded SO good! Was unable to get it to work, even with help. I believed their "refund if not happy" policy. Jumped through all the hoops. Never came.

    SPAM AND SCAMMERS GALORE- Mint uses no spam filter

    Mint lacks a spam filter. I got this plan in January and paid for the whole year. Up until at least April 28th, you could report spam to *7726* -like with every major carrier. In early May all of a sudden I started getting daily messages and calls from scammers and spammers. Mint claims has NO spam filters, and no mechanism to report spam for its database. it subscribes to no database. AVOID MINT unless you want to get flooded with spam/scams!!

    Horrible Service

    This service is terrible! I am lucky if I have more than 1 bar most times. While our critical child was at Children’s Hospital, I had no service unless I was outside. Repeatedly I’ve been told someone has tried calling and the call doesn’t go through. Switching to Mint was the worst decision I’ve ever made!

    I spent 3 or 4 hours on the phone trying to purchase a phone and unlimited plan but they were unable to process the credit card payment that the credit card company had approved. When, after 7 days of phone calls, they were able to process a payment it was for over $300 more than agreed upon. I called them within 15 minutes and was told I would get my money back within 7 to 11 days. Everything they told me so far has been lies. I don't expect this to be any different but I will have to wait over a week to find out. They are proficient in telling lies. Stay away. What you are told is not what you get.

    Dont be fooled by introductory offer...AWEFUL!

    Absolutely nonsensical incompetence. 4 1/2 months of failure to port my number over due to their gross incompetence...never even ran it through their proper porting procedure. I finally had the FCC step in before it worked....Their 3rd world customer service is often rude but even their best supervisors had no idea of how the service is supposed to work. It was as bad as FACEBOOK in trying to reach someone that would actually help manage a transition, with no follow up EVER, or anyone to take responsibility for follow through until the porting is complete. THEN they limit 5g service before throttling turtle slow service til the next month begins....SERIOUSLY INCOMPETENT PEOPLE & TECNOLOGY! AVOID AVOID AVOID, BEFORE THEY THROTTLE YOU TOO!

    Very upset that a call mintmobile and they were having a black friday sale for buy 3 months and get 3 months free. I buy the chip after hours of dealing with my cellphone to change plans. I ask the guy best buy Representative, is that correct that you are honoring the Black Friday deal? They said yes, I canceled my other phone and activated this phone with the plan now. They don't give me the three months free. So not only did I have all the problems. I know how to find another new company. Because they lied and so did best buy.

    Poor Service - Disconnection Problems

    Terrible customer service. One morning i could no longer make calls or send text messages. I called customer service multiple times. Once they told me that i "lost the connection to the tower". Another time they told me "its been escalated to Tmobile" but they have no way to check the status. If you want reliable service do not go with this carrier.

    Extreme limitations on use of service

    This company committed tort of deceit against me by denying me service accorded me by the terms and conditions. When I needed to get in touch with the NJMVC, the wait time was long due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I had waited for 2½ hours when the line dropped. I asked Mint to clarify, and was told that this was the limit of call lengths. Nowhere in the terms and services is this stated. I requested a full refund, since this extreme limit had been imposed on the service from the beginning without my knowledge, which request was denied. This company is cheap because it does not care about its customers and imposes arbitrary limits on the service. Stay away if you need full service without arbitrary limits.

    Worst nightmare ever.

    Trying to change from Tmobile to Mint Mobile was the most complicated, frustrating and confusing thing I have gone through. I did everything right, my phone was compatible and unlocked. After spending 3 hours on the phone with their support people, they couldn't transfer my number. So, after I asked for a refund, I got an email telling me my number transfer was successful, except it wasn't even my number. I've never been so happy that I decided to save my Tmobile SIM card.

    Terrible coverage, data is garbage!

    I used Mint Mobile for years and the coverage in my area grew progressively worse to the point that I could only rely on wifi. The data coverage is awful and all of the hours trouble shooting with mint mobile techs accomplished nothing. They even sent me a new sim card, nothing worked. I was initially happy with the price and decent coverage but it's garbage now and of course they won't prorate a refund. So I've paid for an entire year for two phone plans that essentially only work on wifi. This is bad business. I paid upfront for a service that is no longer working properly because MINT has not upheld their side of the contract. I will not be renewing these plans. Not even Ryan Reynolds can change my mind!

    Unusable service! Do not buy

    I had T Mobile for over 2 years and switched to Mint. Areas where service was fine with T-mobile I could no longer get service. Text wouldn't go through, calls wouldn't connect and websites wouldn't load. Mint only seems to work early in the morning or late in the evening. During the day it's unuseable The card says 7 day MONEY BACK GUARANTEE BUT IT'S ONLY IF YOU BUY FROM MINT WEBSITE! you can't get your money back if you but from best buy.
