I was excited to go with Mint, got my order# and activation code. I released my number with my current provider. In 3 days, Mint has not been able to send me the activation code. So I have no phone service: no calling, no texting.

I don't like this card. My old phone was a match for it, but all the steps to get it working failed. Ended up returning the card and getting another one.

I have run out of data three times this month and had to pay $20 per 3 gigs. It's good if you want to save money and you don't use your phone much for anything except maps, or texting. If you want to watch videos, you might want a better plan with more data. Totally not worth it in my eyes at 20 gigs. Not when it's $20 for 3 gigs more every month if you use it. Better off with Verizon, T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile

I would not go with Mint Mobile if you value your sanity. Their service is atrocious, and not a good deal at any price. I have a modern, 5G phone (S21 5G) and roughly 20% of the time in my area, I have NO DATA SERVICE at all. About 5% of the time, I have NO PHONE SERVICE at all. The same holds true for wife and daughter. I am regularly downgraded to 2G (Edge) for hours on end, multiple times per day, despite living in a major metropolitan area, well within their supposed coverage map.

Very slow data rates at many locations even with 2 - 3 bars. I have plenty of data left in my plan but they cut me down to 0.61 mbs at many locations around town which is VERY annoying.

Awful coverage. I switched from the Verizon network and my gosh it was such a disappointment. I didn't even use 7 weeks of Mint Mobile coverage that I already paid for -- that's just how bad it was!

Terrible service. They recycle/reuse phone numbers, hence is impossible to use WhatsApp since it has been already assigned to a previous user or either numbers are marked as spam by WhatsApp. Also I got several spam calls and SMS. NOT RECOMMENDABLE

This is decent, cheap local service. But their customer service, if you ever have an issue, is HORRIBLE. Also, their international roaming is super expensive, runs out fast and leaves you with no GPS in a foreign place. The worst thing is they have no one to talk to who has any knowledge or athority and they're super cheap about resolving any situation. I'm switching. I've had it with them.

MINT MOBILE prepaid do not work if you want to migrate your existing USA number. I purchased a MINT MOBILE 12 MB for three months for a total of $75. Advertisement said that customer can migrate their current USA phone number to the new MINT SIM CARD. However when using MINT automated activation system over the phone, customers are not given the option to migrate their current number. MINT automatically assigns a new number and customer service says nothing can be done about it

Mint was horrible! purchased a new iPhone unlocked. They locked the Esim, took apple hours to undue what mint had done to a phone I paid full price for up front! Had to dispute mint's charges with my credit card! I won the dispute, got my money back, but after months of effort. Mint claims and told me 100 times that they don't lock devises, but they do. Apple tech was able to clearly see that the devise had locked by Mint!

I checked the coverage before purchasing and it showed I would have service at home. However, I can't send or receive texts half the time. I have to connected to wifi or mobile data for them to go thru. Upon reaching out to Mint Mobile I found out that service is only good if I'm outside of my home! What a joke...I live in town and have never had any other issues with different service providers. I see why service is so cheap.

International roaming does NOT work and don’t bet your life on it. Customer service and tech support are helpless and will agree with you this service sucks. You will just waste your time. It sucks so much that Mint took off their troubleshooting page online.

Basically my phone wasn't working properly, so they refused to tech it. Then, by the time I spoke to the THIRD supervisor, they had me change settings that made it impossible for me to make calls. Then they denied that the changes they had me make were responsible. It also reset my data settings, making me waste a month's worth of data in one day. Their tech support is awful, they have no idea what they're doing, or if they're even selling phones. Avoid at all cost.

Horrible service with major quality issues. You get what you pay for. I would highly recommend avoiding unless you dont mind horrible/slow service.

Horrible customer service I bought a year's worth of service for my son he changed jobs he has no reception at his new job with mitt mobile I contacted them asking if I could have have a refund we have only used about 3 months of the service they said no there's only a 7 day refund policy and basically too bad you're out of luck they refuse to refund the rest of the year even though we can no longer use the service at the current location.

My service with Mint Mobile has been absolutely awful, despite their website telling me it would be "Awesome!". I am in a suburban area and other discount servicers have been substantially better than. I wouldn't have purchased a year if they didn't tell me my service would "awesome"

Very bad mobile network. I hardly ever get full signals. The internet speed is so slow it gives me mostly edge. They have given me a used number, I keep getting phone calls from random numbers several times daily. The worst thing is I am unable to receive any text messages. And their customer service never have a solution to your problem

I've had Mint for over a year. It is cheap, but you get what you pay for. The service and customer service is terrible. My data literally does not work. I've asked for a refund since I purchased a year and they cannot provide one. It is worth the extra $10 a month to get a service plan that actually works. Everyone you talk to is from India and reads off a script. It is horrendous and I wouldn't even recommend it to get the referral bonus.

The map they use on their website is a lie. My area on the map is dark green, indicating they not only cover my area but it's got great service. I purchased a SIM card but Mint rejected my zip code, saying my area is not covered by them. The map clearly shows everything is covered when that's not the case.

I paid for 12 month plan and can only access service in my area. Everytime I went out of town, there is no signal at all and it got worse as the month went by. I contacted Customer Service for a refund of the rest of my plan and was denied. They agreed with me that the situation is frustrating and not offering any solution to the problem.
