Once activated it showed me what I purchased and the length of service. (It was a promo from bestbuy that added 3 more months of service) I received a local number and was activated within about 5 minutes.

I pay $90 every 3 months for 2 people instead of $120 every month at T-Mobile.

I switched from AT&T network and used to get 2 bars at my home. But Mint mobile gives full bars.

She said it was easy to set up on an old phone (note, don't use 2 phones with same apple ID) for the kids to use when they were not with her. Calls in her area drop a little more often on Mint than Verizon but for the price difference, this is much more affordable.

The 3 month prepaid kit includes a SIM card at no extra cost, unlimited voice and text and 3 GB of high speed data. But they don't cut you off at 3GB... you have unlimited data too, just at a slower speed after 3GB. All this for about $15/month. Reception is great in the Pittsburgh area, I'm a happy camper.
