She said it was easy to set up on an old phone (note, don't use 2 phones with same apple ID) for the kids to use when they were not with her. Calls in her area drop a little more often on Mint than Verizon but for the price difference, this is much more affordable.

I pay $90 every 3 months for 2 people instead of $120 every month at T-Mobile.

Good coverage at a price point thats unbeatable. Ive been using mint for 5 years now and id never go back to any other carrier. Saves me a ton of money.

You just slot it in and follow the instructions on the app, and you get to keep your phone number. The prices for the plans are reasonable enough. Pretty painless and there's minty green branding, too!

Cheaper Than The Big Boys

I might need to go to the next level of data, but I won't make that decision for another couple of months. Just make sure you go through your "old" carrier to get your number transfer started and ready to port over before starting with the "new" Mint sign up.

All I had to do was get the sim card and BAM!!! Three months later I signed up for a 12 month subscription for one-hundred twenty dollars for the year.
