    The service has been good with one, for me, BIG caveat: the phone number was owned by XXXXXXXXXXX and whenever I call someone that's the name that shows on Caller ID. Not good. Mint supplied me with the number, I didn't have a choice. I've talked to several people at Mint and so far nothing has been done. I've sent a letter to Ryan Reynolds, the guy in the amusing ads, about this. If this gets straightened out I'd give it a 5 star rating.

    I bought this service for my son’s phone. He has been using it for about a week now and so far so good, no issues at all. Setup took longer than expected but if this all works out in the long run, you can’t beat the price of the service.

    I've been on Mint for a few weeks (TMobile network) and in my area (San Francisco Bay Area) the service is quite reliable. YMMV. I got this kit for 50% off; watch for sales. Be aware that this kit is for new service only (I don't see that in the description on the site) and has an expiration date by which you much activate (in my case it's good for a year). I deducted one star as this is not spelled out in the description
