Overall a very decent projector.

However, the reason I wanted it was to have my Netflix logged in and be able to stream straight from the project. What I found is that, while Netflix logged in, it uses some weird UI to browse through all the available movies and shows via text of the title. No images or normal Netflix UI. This made it difficult to use for then purpose I wanted. It also ran incredibly slow, as far as software goes.

Posted .Thank you for your feedback on the L500S. We’re sorry you're having issues with SYNQ TV, which is used for streaming content on the projector. SYNQ TV was specifically developed by Miroir to provide a centralized platform for accessing various streaming services in one place.
The reason it doesn't resemble the normal Netflix app is because it is a custom application designed to integrate multiple streaming services, including Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, etc, into a unified interface. While this may take a little getting used to, it offers the convenience of searching all of your streaming content from a single platform.
I wasn’t sure exactly what you meant by “browsing via the text of the title”, but SYNQ TV offers the ability to browse categories, genres, and recommendations, all with the show and movie artwork displayed.
Regarding the performance issues you mentioned, SYNQ TV performs at the same level as any comparable first party app. If you experienced slow performance, it could be due to various factors, such as the internet connection speed or other device-specific issues. We recommend ensuring a stable and fast internet connection to optimize the streaming experience.
