I originally bought this because it was in 3D and only $10, but once I finally watched it, I was impressed. It was a good movie, especially since lately tim burton's film are just johnny depp and his wife shows. Plus it was good for my 6 year old daughter to watch too.

This movie is just as I put in the summary, wonderful! Definitely one of my new favs. People that like fantasy and magic will love this movie, I sure do! It's a very whimsical movie, I think that's the word I'm looking for anyway, but its serious at times as well. I highly recommend it.

Great movie for kids, very child appropriate!!! I would like to say that we pride ourselves on the trash we allow our children to see...and this movie suffice to say is exactly NOT that "trash on cable TV now." A rare bird, as an occasional wholesome family movie. I give it 2 thumbs up!

The new 4K DVD's are super and bring the viewers experience to a new level. Miss Peregrine"s Home for Peculiar Children was a great example and fun to watch. Added bonus of Bluray and digital copy made the an even better deal. Best Buy availability and pricing are always worth the trip.

This movie was enjoyable to watch. The premise of time travel was well incorporated into the plot. The characters were engaging. The film looked good. After watching It made me want to be able to use time like the characters in the movie used time.

Another good movie from Tim Burton. There is a lot going on and at points it seems hard to keep up, you definitely watch to keep your eyes on it. The special effects are great and the characters are interesting. Probably a double viewing just to soak everything up but would be worth it.

This one was a good surprise. It's a good story that is darker than I expected (having never read the book). For a Tim Burton film, it isn't as wacky as all of his other stuff I've seen. And for this movie, that was the right move. Worth a watch.

I loved the twins and the movie itself was good. Took two watches to understand the loops at the end but I finally got it. Best of all with digital hd you follow the instructions and you can download the movie from the iTunes Store for free. Yeah I'm a little late on that one lol

I found the movie suspenseful and the storyline intriguing. It's an imaginative movie that surprises and delight. There were parts that were fun, weird, fantastic, scary and dark. I'm not sure if it's a movie intended for young children. It may cause nightmares.

Tim Burton has always captured the oddity of individuals and makes each one special. These special people are the everyday people in the real world. Most of which remain hidden because the majority of the people do not understand them. This movie is perfect for that. Loved it!

Overall this movie was pretty good. The story was interesting and it had the expected dark/weird Tim Burton touch. It's not my favorite Tim Burton film, but it was still quite good. Was worth the watch, but maybe not at the price it cost when it released.

I bought this for my kiddos (teenagers) not expecting for my hubby & I to enjoy it. But I must say this is an EXCELLENT family movie. So glad Best Buy had it in stock & at such a fabulous price. I highly recommend & we can’t wait to watch it again.

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children is what you've come to expect from Tim Burton: a visually stunning depiction of a slightly twisted tale. Although a sub-par performance from Samuel Jackson as the villain, the story is well told and entertaining.

I love the fantasy genre. This one was just okay. At times it was a bit confusing. I was never totally certain of where the plot was going. Even still, it was an okay story with some surprises.

The 4k picture is full of clarity, detail, and pops with outstanding color. It looks great, but if you have a Dolby Atmos surround sound you are in for a treat. There are several moments through out the film that feel very immersive due to the Atmos track. It is very nice!

Not my kind of movie but it was explained pretty well and didn't go too far into the dream world as some movies have so it wasn't all that bad. These are not my usual kind of movies but seemed interesting after watching the previews. It didn't disappoint.

Nice comeback to fantasy for Tim Burton who's been, except for Big Eyes has been slumming it of late. Top notch production with exceptional fantasy designs and elements. Eva Green is always a joy. Slow pace and changes to the book may turn off some.

The movie is fantastic, and Tim Burton's imagery is gorgeous. A good and compelling storyline, though disappointing as far as an adaptation of the book, with the story changes making it impossible to adapt the remaining books anywhere near the source story.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a pretty good movie. Honestly, it's like xmen without the mutant. A lot more kid friendly in other words. Would recommend to any parent, who can handle a little violence. Overall it is a decent movie.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children feels like Tim Burton's X-Men franchise. Burton has always had an interest in the outcasts and misfits of society and now he has his chance to leave an imprint on the ever-present superhero phenomenon.
